PS I have a little plant , so I’m cool too yes?
This is Tidal Waves, a six voice gesture controlled synth.
Short Demo
That is so cool! Will it be available as an assembled product?
Going to modify my case to make place for the coming telexO , then my ecosystem is done
very cool! is there more info about Tidal Waves online?
New here still wrapping my head around this massive community and what better way to start.
Here is the rig and Buddy.
Modified my Yeovil Hacker Space punkseq10 (originally a hungover Supernormal Festival workshop build which had various issues not least fake LEDs with the anode and cathode backwards!!!) - added CV and clock out to turn it into a fun incredibly wonky sequencer. Pots work backwards!!? It does nice irregularities and out of sequence patterns with certain wrong combinations of the step length switches. I’ve left out the actual audio input for now as I am not a fan of the ‘atari punk console’ sound and that section of the circuit didn’t seem to be working properly, tho does seem to effect the sequencer speed in some mysterious way tho sometimes
Big shout to the Evil* Hacker Space and the Wyrd Wild Westers…
*Yeovil was also spelled Evil or similar at various points.
all hallows
what a lovely space!
Cool atmospheric space, and nice photo! My back hurts, just looking that chair, though–haha.
Experiment to created electronic : from drone to glitch noise or synthesizer sound with no input mixing board as only sound source, and effect pedals.
Audio version.
…shame theres no cv outs on the exercise bike
Another missed opportunity indeed. That’d be fun for reals though.
Seems doable too, add an encoder to one of the wheels and with a bit of work you could have CV outs for velocity, acceleration, triggers for start / stop, clock out based on speed…
Crosspost from the Tiny Studio Corner thread — put the finishing touches on a new stand-up rack for my synths today:
What’s in the top row?
Yeah, but then I would have to get out of bed:)
