Hey! That looks very nice. I just had a look at Tom’s latest offering and I like the idea of limiting options. That said I’d love a smallish system like yours… do you have any idea what next year’s standalone will be? If it was planned to complement synth voice, I think I might try and get on the November batch waiting list, if it’s not too late.

yes, tom said the next frame is intended to complement the synth voice. he’s still working on it so things might change, but he did say he’s considering including a new sawcore vco, quadrature sine vco + frequency shifter and some utility stuff, preamp, s&h, noise, vc slew etc.

i think the synth voice is very capable as it is but i did expand mine with the old bug modules - it’s nice to have s&h / extra oscillators / delay / etc!

Where did you send it? I have the same monorocket 6U, and I can’t figure out why I have only powered one rail with +5v and not the other. Cheers!

These are “Amalgamod” cases, made by a friend of mine in Melbourne, Australia.

Absolutely excellent cases. I’ve got several 12U folders, and the 6U one pictured above. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

The cases can be a little hard to get - he does small runs at present, and they sell quickly - but totally worth the wait and investment. Surprisingly fast and cost effective to ship internationally too.
