really clean sync as far as i can tell
(less control than what some folks are used to, like lzx, but i dont need much)

great for noise/glitch/fedback fringe visuals

Been away from home for 6 weeks. Today i played with my synth again

And it was fun to route the output to the little JBL speaker.

not the greatest photo, but a killer session. this is dave harrington, the producer for this new record for ilhan ersahin. in the live rooms, we have ilhan on sax, rhodes, wurli, and prohpet, alp on electric bass, and brandon on trap kit. arto and mauro refosco came through on different days to do percussion. dave played lap steel, my arp quartet, and the modular, live, while we also ran sub mixes from pro tools out to his mixer so we can live dub/loop/mangle what everyone is playing. we recorded it back into pro tools and everyone could monitor and respond to it all in real time. WILD session. super excited to see what dave and ilhan do with the hours of jams!

ersahins “afternoon in rio” is one of the most beloved in my collection…

i’m curious as drummer, who was mentioned 1st on percussion? arto lindsay? airto moreira? or someone else entirely…?

No, the USB connector has come a bit loose on my unit. I gave up before making a proper fix (this time) when I found the second set of screws. I opted to use a now-useless dongle holder to keep the USB plug in place.

And the necessary picture:

I’m not sure why I took it this far, but I recorded a bunch of variations on a bell tone through the ADDAC601, and then, since I’d never uploaded anything to Bandcamp before, I went and put it there:

Introducing the Maak Fjørds ‘H to I’ module. (H2I, water to ice…)
Inspired by the guy who made/posted the Lego blind panels on modulargrid, I made a module of my own that fits/sits snugly in my case, with a working switch, 2 knobs, 5 jacks and an led.
What does it do? Glad you asked.
I imagine it as an analog & digitally controlled analog & digital filter that does some interesting cross modulation, or some such.
