The Shady Grove metro station is the last (first?) stop on the Washington DC Metro’s Red Line. This shot from the parking garage shows passengers queuing to get into the station for their tip into the District for today’s Women’s March on Washington.

My wife and young daughter are marching and I hope they’re safe and having a good time.

Had to capture the beauty of Orthogonal Devices packaging before I put it in the case.

That is such a thing of beauty. I was made for monome and mannequins and great adventures. Well done.

Isn’t there a board game thread already?

Obligatory pic, too many great shots from yesterday, but this one cracked me up

Ooh, there is. Thanks:

My six-year-old and I thank you.

That is what I can “seriously cool.” Paint me green with envy etc. Are you building with boards from Roman?

And an unrelated photo of a Mackie mixer circuit board

Roman of course , except for the Metatron Generator .

packed up the skiff to take to CV Freqs yesterday. Sat around chatting to people, letting it run Krell patches and a nice generative riff on a sample of Bert Jansch’s Chambertin which I’m always happy to fiddle with.

For some reason this reminds me of the Jurassic Museum of Technology’s tea room.

Or the Huntington Gardens.

…err…

Can two things be more different? :no_mouth:

I’d love to know too I’ve wanted to get some of the new faderfox stuff for Aalto at some point
Having a 1:1 control surface for aalto would just be unbelievable

Looks really nice! Been thinking of doing this myself… any particular resources you found especially helpful? I’ve built lots of euro and tube amps but this would still be a significant investment of time and money for me. Would love to hear your thoughts.

And here’s the turntable my wife and I gave ourselves for Christmas:

I love the FaderFox UC44! It is a central part of my rig. You have direct access to 16 faders, 16 buttons, and 16 banks of 8 encoders (with two functions each: twist and press). And if you use the “shift” feature (I don’t) you get double that. – If any of you do go the FaderFox route, I’ve got some software I wrote for programming it, and an improved Ableton Live Remote Script in the works.
