I’ve coveted your cool retro desk before when I’ve seen it on your website! beautiful workspace.

Just finished a soundtrack so am considering clearing my workspace of all the clutter from that process tonight - thanks for inspiring me @markeats!

In other news if you haven’t tried MarkEats sequencer you’re missing a trick!

Unrelated pic.

Doing some field recording.

Hey, I think you bought that Music Tech Pro Performer from me :smile:

@declutter Well the 256 is running Mark Eats Sequencer of course :slight_smile: The 128 I actually use quite rarely but here it’s an ableton clip launcher, using LiveControl via monomebridge, just triggering pre-recorded bits. I was thinking about doing mlrv instead but this is quicker process-wise for now.

@Simeon thanks and good luck reaching your new zen workspace!

  2. drone distribution station;
  3. one of the new, benign drone operator field outposts.)

@glia good eye!

In the top:
rowPower40 / mangrove /coldMac / sisters / dixieII / quadra / vcNoiz / dplpg / uVCAII / C3 knobRecorder / ripples / mixMode
Bottom:
walk / ww / es / mp / tt / dplpg / function / phonogene / compressor

I had zero experience in Eurorack when I saw the first demos of the monome modules. I had been wanting to use a monome for ages though, just NOT with a computer. So anyway this was my first real chance to get a monome.

Modules choice is copied straight outta the monome vids (tehns?) I started with the intellijel stuff and added on from there. It turned out to be a really good setup for me to learn about creating my own modular system. Those skiff setups in the videos seemed to have sort of the bare minimum so it felt like a good starting point.

the mixer/compressor is something I feel like I can’t live without, just from my own personal experience pre-modular, and they’ve served me well. I like the phonogene but the damn thing is so big…

I already feel like I want to completely change things around… the monome grid was definitely a gateway drug for me.

Lovely! What is the popsicle-looking thing with a red cord? Is that a mic?

Glorious looking machine, and great photos!
