I have a 128gb sd in mine. I had to use this(https://www.diskpart.com/partition-manager-pro-edition.html) to format to fat32 then just copied the files to that and it works great

Yup. 128 gb here as well. Format, then copy the old content over.

I’ve had a Tracker for a couple of months now. I love the workflow and the various options… but there’s some real problems with the tempo synch, specifically on the exports. Both song and stem exports are way off. They’ve made changes in a few beta firmware versions now, but it hasn’t changed. I am beginning to fear that it’s a problem that won’t get fixed, and I’ll end up in a similar situation to what happened with the Digitakt and Overbridge. Hopefully not though, as the Polyend folks seem active and responsive in GitHub.

New firmware incoming!

can’t decide which one of the MIDI sync and the extra games is the most awesome new feature…so Santa is real after all

how did you get Mario on yours? the games i downloaded didn’t contain that. it was a lawn mowing game and a few others that were all pretty simplistic…

Think this is one of those Photoshops.

It isn’t:

Does anyone have any idea how the chords work? Is the whole chord defined by one single value?

Looks like same logic as with ā€arpeggioā€ effect in classic trackers:

ā€ MIDI Chord ā€œ0ā€ step Fx is now available (based on classic trackers, e.g. 037 - minor chord, 047 - major chord, 027A - sus2 b7),ā€

So you define root note as the actual track note, and then two (or three) additional notes on top with relative intervals as effect params.

I noticed the file extensions on the games were .nes so I thought to myself ā€œwait a minuteā€¦ā€ and went and downloaded some ROMS, which all worked like a charm.

Some games work, some don’t. No Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy, Zelda, or Startropics - I’m guessing it doesn’t play well with save data. No save states either. Passwords are fine though (provided you’re willing to note down the password, like in the old days!). Also, there’s no way to adjust the volume once you’re playing, so do your ears a favor and adjust the master volume first (I found a reasonable setting for my headphones was around -15dB)

Here’s a list of the ones I tried last night that do seem to work:

Castlevania 1 (but not 3)
Dr. Mario
Duck Tales (I can’t seem to use the cane? Never played this before though)
Gargoyle’s Quest II
The Guardian Legend
Gun-Nac
Krusty’s Fun House
Lemmings (I can’t seem to select tools?)
Little Ninja Brothers
Little Samson
Megaman (all games seem to work, I confirmed 3 and 6)
Ninja Gaiden
Shatterhand
Solomon’s Key
Spelunker
Strider
Tetris
The Magic of Sheherazade
Willow
Yoshi’s Cookie
Ys III - Wanderers From Ys

No Dragon Warrior!? Booooo!!!

This is a fun add. Sold my Tracker once getting an M8, but thrilled to see these additions to the platform

I’m trying to render selection from MIDI like this, but when I do the audio is super distorted and nothing like the original. Do you have that same experience? I wanted to be able to render audio this way instead of sampling and having to crop things. Literally only got this today so maybe I’m doing something wrong? I haven’t been able to find answers anywhere. Thank you for your help if you can.

Has anyone successfully used their Tracker’s USB output with Ansible as the MIDI/CV converter?

I’ve had no luck—it seems like the Tracker locks up Ansible with a TR2 lit, not responding to any MIDI input. I have to power cycle to get Ansible responding again (to a grid, or other USB MIDI device.)

For what it’s worth, my FH-2 works perfectly well with the Tracker

This is something I intended to try out the first thing my Ansible arrives, but based on this I assume I’ll stumble upon the same problem (I’ll report here if not).

Combined with the fact that I need to get my DIY Grid working with the Ansible (or wait for someone to implement support / eventually buy a non-DIY grid), I suppose the first thing is to learn how debugging works in that environment…

Okay, so I just snagged a tracker. What’s the first thing I do? Try out the games of course. But, I can’t figure out how to exit a game after I’ve started one. I can figure out the pause, restart, etc… but if I want to get back and work on a project, I have to restart the unit. I must be missing something obvious. Any ideas?
