Polymetric eurorack sequencers / ansible

i’m considering getting a second ansible for having more than 4 tracks on kria. mhmh…

  1. is there a way to build some sort of switch in order to use only one grid?

[2) is there any fiddly hack that’d let me use my (other) monome 256 with both, simultaneosly?]

  1. any hints as for other sequencing modules that i should have a look at, considering that i like the ansible alot - would just wish for more tracks?

thanks

that’s exactly what monome switch does. it was designed to also power the grid from another source than eurorack power, in order to prevent noise caused by the LEDs. If you don’t have noise issues I believe you can also use switch without the additional power plug (untested). Unfortunately it’s deprecated, but they come up second hand from time to time.

Wait, after thinking about it, a simple usb switcher should work! no hp too.
I have one from china which I use for switching the TT keyboard between desktop and TT. super useful. [quote=“benniii, post:1, topic:8226”]

Not possible sadly. Theoretically I guess one could build a 256 double kria firmware and send the second half of the outputs to a second ansible via i2c. But that would involve some hacking.
