The fact that it’s being updated (even if not working now) makes me really happy! Thanks for sharing!

just heard back with a working download! can confirm that gg.rainer/kk.rainer works and includes the ppooll_extended package. amazing and quick response from the team

curious if anyone here might have it working on win10?
working nearly flawlessly on my mac, but windows has all ll.numbers sliders missing despite the external being present.

no devs on the list have a windows machine to test with. curious if any users here somehow got it running.

does the unzipped folder live in the packages folder of Max 8?

thanks!

20 characters of yes.

exactly. would check out some of the videos @electret linked in the mirror on getting started with the routing, buffers, etc

ppooll generates no sound and the volume sections are greyed out. all is up to date. Max 8.1.8, ppooll 8.2. also tried using Max8.1.3 which is what i have on my laptop. works fine on my laptop but cant get ppooll of any version to work on my new pc. any help is much appreciated! can’t seem to find too much about ppooll these days especially weird troubleshooting issues.

directories should be correct but maybe i’m missing something. ppooll is in PC/Documents/Max8/Packages

in Max i get an the error code reading:

Error 126 loading external ll_number

ll_number: ll_number: no such object

Did you install this version? https://ppooll.klingt.org/images/0/03/Ppooll_vers8.2.zip

yes, and still have issues unfortunately, can’t figure it out

Yeah that’s weird, I thought it fixed these issues. If not done yet, send an email to lloopp-request@klingt.org, they should be able to help you out! let us know how it goes!

Is anyone else having issues with ppooll 8.2 and Max 8.1.8 on mac? not seeing a folder for Max 8 (unlike previous versions) only a drag to Applications installer. How are you folks running ppooll w/ max 8? When i open host it’s not generating any acts, and it doesn’t look correct. Any help is appreciated, I think this is the only current thread on ppooll on the entire internet! [screenshots attached of my partially working host]

i’m having the same issue on PC. sorry to hear, but glad it’s not just me.
will let you know if i find anything out. maybe it’s a bug. though i tried installing older versions of both max and ppooll and still have the same issues weird enough.

I’ve never had any similar issues with ppooll, besides it being really shitty on Max 7.
I’d say contact Klaus Filip on the mailing list, as previously said he’s usually very helpful.

Thanks, email sent & I’ll check back here if I get any good tips!

have they responded to you? if so, any luck?

I recently got ppool running on a 2016 mac book pro running on catalina. Max 8.1.8 installed in ~/Documents/Max\ 8. I put the ppooll 8.2 directory in ~/Documents/Max\ 8/ppooll and it shows up in the extras drop-down menu in max - and has been working for me. I installed percolate and karma and have munger and karma working well. I have been struggling to get mixer to work. But I’ve been getting around that by routing audio through ableton using the blackhole audio router.

Made this last night with gg.rainer, karma, and some various effects. (link).

I’ll work at debugging the pool mixer this week.

No response yet unfortunately. @adaherb so you’re seeing ppooll host in the this dropdown? Hoping it’s just an issue of putting ppooll in the right folder

Here’s where my ppooll is, still getting a semi-complete host

you want to put the ppooll directory in Max\ 8/packages - you have it in one directory up from that

i have the same problem on windows 10, latest max version.
i never heard of this package before and very curious to dive in! hope it gets fixed
