yeah definitely sounds like the 0-Coast, maybe a touch controller in the 0-coast’s format? like a semi-modular pressure points/rene hybrid?!

I don’t know if this is what it is, but I certainly hope it is. It would be a great companion to small desktop things and honestly controllers outside of a rack makes more sense to me ergonomically.

I know what you mean, anything that comes out of it always seems to grab my attention.

Me too, here‘s hoping it‘s available again soon.

That would be definitely an interesting development.

Mimeophon style graphics, but with 5 sections

Considering the skeleton image, maybe something with 5 pressure pads, one for each finger?

I’m assuming some sort of updated take on pressure points?

Video synth. Based on absolutely nothing.

Numbers presented in a sequence over time is a time series, and time series data are used for a variety of important analytical purposes, all of which involve computation, and another word for computation is math.

My first maths is on its way. A new one would both be amazing and frustrating.

Okay now I want this. Something like Make Noise take on the Serge TKB. Would make sense too in the ecosystem too I think, their offerings for tactile input (altought the modules overall are very playable!) are pretty limited and often seen in dedicated skiffs anyway. Desktop unit would be cool, and simple ”Tempi lite” clock divider could fit nicely there too.

I don’t even know what a new Maths could do. Maybe better 1 v/o tracking?

I’d be excited if it were a Mimeophon noise fix.

My dream is an affordable touch keyboard that works well with dry skin, in an 0-Coast sized enclosure, that can send both (tunable) CV and MIDI. Somewhere between a Pressure Points and a Microfreak keyboard.

Although the MIDI is pretty optional.

Agreed. Closest I could ever find was the QuNexus, which isn’t really touch of course, and is a bit pricier than I’d have liked. That said, once I ended up getting it it has been a pretty great companion for my 62hp rig

I like my QuNexus for modular, too. I feel like the pads also somewhat get me away from the feeling of “ok here’s a keyboard, let me play some chords” and more into “alright let’s bang out some notes!” Playing a note on a traditional keyboard into modular for something droning away feels bizarre but on the qunexus I feel more like I’m selecting notes for the modular to do it’s thing with.

I kinda get the feeling that it’s a complete, standalone device, or maybe they have a new System coming out (like the Tape & Microsound, but in a different style). I’m not into eurorack, so I’ll enjoy the ride until these cryptic videos come to a close.

It does seem like it could be a new standalone, though a pressure points alternative also tracks.

Maybe some something like the Landscape Stereo Field but with Erbe algos?

I am actually thinking of getting the MicroFreak mainly for that, read/heard very good things about the keyboard. Sounds like a pretty interesting synth overall as well, especially given its price.
