I’m so happy they decided to follow the McDonalds logo

I have been trying to stop getting excited by gear, but that has totally ruined those attempts. I have been saving up for a Mimeophon but I think that will have to be put on hold for a while.

All I can see is a pretzel. Idk how Pentagram are such an expensive/prestigious design agency when I’m always disappointed by their work.

I have been working with 2600 M for a few weeks and the form factor definitely makes it a different beast. With the reduced footprint it now fits much better next to a Eurorack case, and the fact that you can just put together a little pod with Marbles or O&C as a generative companion to a (despite the small size) awesome sounding synth is an interesting proposition. The recently released SQ-64 feels like the unofficial keyboard companion to me, especially since you can address each of the voices individually for polyphony.

Fingers crossed for a Mini-Pops reissue, that would be awesome :crossed_fingers:

(Edit: sry missed the earlier post about clouds)

Korg just released a livestream demo of the Modwave on YouTube.

ahh, the return of the controversial “leaked” mutable image! Kind of an aside but it looks like that image came from the artist Colleen’s instagram. Excited to hear what she does with that setup.

Here’s a visualization on how CV OUT configuration layout works on Oxi One.
We are kinda proud of how it works

Could be fun.

Very interesting if the complexity hinted by the prototype is there and it follows the affordable pricing of the -logue range. It seems here is a ton of drum machines, but not many interesting ones, to me at least. Analog and digital clones and reissues of the old stuff, few kinda unique analog machines but they are pretty basic, then straight up full on grooveboxes more reliant on samples and even they have huge focus on the classic sounds, some very very cool but specialized boutique offerings. Analog Rytm seems kinda nice, but for a step sequencer native non-fingerdrummer I don’t feel like paying for those pads. So if this has a unique sound with deep editing and sequencing possibilities with full-on focus on drums it could be really cool.

Now with sound

Doesn’t seem like the O-Tape but still intrigued. Tony and Alessandro were punning on the letters “EASE”.

Looks like it contains reverb controls, but I don’t think it is a standalone effect (because it was mentioned that it is not a module), some synth with built-in FX maybe?

My guess (love this guessing game) is a ‘synth’ like Mimeophon can be a synth. But more focus on sound making aspect than a pure FX. It was mentioned to be something to go well along with 0-ctrl so this would make sense (for me). A pure FX could of course be sequenced by 0-ctrl but a sound maker more so.

I’m pretty excited about MIDI 2.0 for DIY projects. I’m always in this limbo of having to choose between vanilla MIDI for super easy plug-and-play, “14-bit MIDI” for use in Max while not exactly being safe in some apps, or “full blown OSC”, which doesn’t work in most DAWs and requires a lot more code on both ends.

So being able to do 32bit stuff natively, on its own, is worth the price of admission for me. Then the rest of it, of what I’ve seen, actually looks quite interesting/promising too.

edit:
But yeah, that logo…

With decay, absorb, and filter, perhaps a physical modelling synth in an 0-coast style case?

I must admit I try to be careful with hype but this “thing” of Make Noise definitely piqued my interest.
At the beginning when the sound becomes bigger it sounds maybe like a reverb? And later there is a sound which sounds a lot like moving time knob of delay for shorter times.
The red led at the bottom is in sync with filter modulation so probably some kind of LFO also.
Some kind of multifx with CVs would be a godsend for me as this was one of the reasons why I went down the eurorack hole.
Looking forward to them releasing this thing and verifying that everything that I stated above was wrong

It’s a full synth voice designed by Alessandro and Tony.
