I’m neither the first nor last to question some of the design decisions ACL makes, but why create static voltage sources that don’t have switches for unipolar, bipolar and range?

Was wondering the same thing. FCVS-4 looks really well positioned to act as extender for a euro mixer. Though, CV would have been nice. Perhaps most useful would be combining the VC AMP Mix and FCVS-4 into a fader/mute equipped VCA.

It’s his private opinion, and a totally stupid and misinformed one at that. Much like people sharing information about Chuck from Sweetwater donating money to Trump and various conservative causes in Indiana, or letting new-to-Eurorack-folks know to avoid Synthrotek at all costs, I think it’s important for the community to know where their money is going.

I completely agree. I appreciate the information. It’s just the internet and I make it a habit of asking for sources. I don’t use facebook so I can’t look this stuff up on my own.

Arius / Folktek had some really cool ideas and aesthetics, particularly with the Electroacoustic series of instruments they made, but I can no longer support them and no longer wish to own any of the old Gardens that pop up every so often. I’m seeing friends and/or synth-fluencers I follow all posting his latest product-to-be-crowdfunded, and it breaks my heart that they’re supporting his products rather than using their platforms to call out his misinformed views.

Make Noise pulled the video until tomorrow so Cortini can introduce the synth in a Sonic State youtube video that should be posted momentarily. Cortini will also be streaming live on IG (@alehan) at some point.
