I want to go the opposite way and have a “32n” with massive, like, 8” faders with 14-bit MIDI, and multiple banks of settings. Basically just fill my desk with giant faders, please.

i think it’s meant to be handheld (as there’s side/top buttons on the edges like a game controller - and accelerometer for gesture/movement stuff) - just hard to do a demo that way :smile_cat:

EDIT:

Here’s another demo that might be more apropos this fourm

Sorry to be so focused on the-thing-that-is-not-the-point  Both your videos and the Aliexpress photos seem to show the analyzer running from battery, but the description gives no indication that it actually is battery powered. Are you powering it in some hidden way?

There’s is a battery inside. I didn’t realize it was there at first either (as it was flat when I first used it - haha)

Hyped to have preordered this lovely little USB host thingy https://intech.studio/shop/knot

Since the primary use of Knot is with Intech Grid controllers, seems a missed opportunity to not have it integrate directly with Grids via their magnetic interface (or, at least, as an option). Would make the whole setup a single neat unit, without an extra box & cable floating around.

(Also having the A-B switch high-profile is a strange choice. You’re unlikely to adjust it frequently, and the chance to catch it by mistake is higher.)

Wowwww, this module from Modbap looks incredible. 3 channels of drum synthesis, stacks/layering, round robin, 24 CV inputs, USB MIDI. Quick flash at the end: “synth algorithms by Ess Mattison” (lead designer of Digitone among other cool things). Looks (and sounds) like a winner.

That team must be unmatched in updating their old hardware and not just releasing a new one therefore annoying their customer-base. It’s awesome.

My word, 100% Dundee

Had anyone posted Koma’s new product? Looks to be a CV → DC machine… that’s my take on it

Metric Halo comes to mind! Still using my 2882 from 2005, with two significant hardware upgrades since then.

Now this is something

Maybe a little like DadaMachine

That’s what I thought! Love their take on affordable feature-packed kit. This looks stellar for anyone in the electro-acoustic-curious camp :camping: :zap:
