I thought more of a RxMx with delay and other features…

From the newsletter from Trent:

i’ve been patching endlessly with just friends & crow, and can’t get enough of this tiny system. ironically not using silhouette as combiner, but for transformation & self-oscillation. note to self that you can feedback every part of silhouette, not just the analogue delay — it’ll happily self-oscillate with at least three distinct timbres.

I assumed from this it’s i2c compatible.
Potentially adds huge potential for crow / TT / code users.

I’ve tried myself but I prefer to do it all with cables, i’m fairly useless with code  ha.

maybe i’m reading this in a boring way, but isn’t this crow+jf as a six voice poly into silhouette?

Could be tbh, I’m sure we’ll find out with the full manual / technical map.

jumped the gun, thought it was recording stuff lol

Doesn’t appear to be any mention of i2c in the manual for Silhouette, nor any reference to i2c headers

I agree with what some others have said, i2c is fantastic but I often get caught up in the possibilities instead of actually making stuff. Happy either way with its presence here.

This is exactly what I’m looking for, but with banana connectors. I wonder if I can modify the jack connectors.

I’m so excited for this

Has anyone found info on the BBD time range?

It seems to go from flange range to medium range, which would be expected from BBD chip that can go short, maybe like 10ms to 300ms-ish seemingly

If you don’t mind paying for top quality, Graham Hinton can build that for you:

No, unfortunately they have stopped production of this product. I have already spoken to them. They had a quality control problem.

This is an excerpt from his response in an email dated November 18.

« Sorry, SwitchMix is not available for the forseeable future. We have had a lot of trouble with quality control by the switch manufacturer and not meeting their specs »

The product is one thing (what we are here for), but I just want to express that the sounds on the video are weird, strange and interesting.

…maybe I actually like demos more than I like music?

I’m currently working with Alessio from noizHARDWARE on a custom mixer. I think you might like to visit the site

I will be happy to know more as soon as possible please!

Glad to hear he is still making gear! His stuff has intrigued me. Certainly makes the best performance matrix mixers.

Ah, thanks for the heads up :+1:
