It was released already (it was shared above) it just sold out instantly. Curious what’s their capacity and if it’ll become one of those things with 3 years waiting lists.

This is pretty cool. Joined wait list.
The timestamp on my “order confirmed” email is about 20 minutes after Rodrigo posted the link above. I’ve been wanting something like this for a while so it didn’t take long to make that decision. Really looking forward to trying it out

Same with me. Since I saw Koka Nikoladze’s video I posted above, I’ve been fascinated by that sound. Can’t believe it’s been 8 years already! I even bought a motor controller but never got my hands on it. Really happy that Landscape made such a beautiful device and can’t wait to get mine.

I placed my order for this LW panel today and I’m extremely hyped:

In the video above, I’m pretty sure he said there are DC coupled outputs, but not inputs.

A 2 chanel portable dj mixer (/sampler?) with a nice design.
Seen on a Cuckoo post on Instagram.

Looks like it’s a mixer and 2 players at the same time all in one… Can’t understand something like this doesn’t exist already!

I was trying to build something like this with a raspberry pi and never gave it any love.
Keeping an eye out to see what pricing will be like

very curious to see how the ui and controls on this work…
as well as the playlist management…
and the audio path / filters / eq / fx…

personally, what i would really like is a pair of minimalist but robust and compact hifi media players to pair with any mixer.

Same for me, I pre-ordered a pair of them after my experiences with PeizoThings (I ended up with three of them, love chordal feedback!)

Same for me, I was going to preorder one but I wanted to see it in person at Superbooth first, and by then they were sold out.
I have one question though: I own no stringed instrument I could play with it nor I have any experience with stringed instruments so… what should I get to play with Ferrous?

Some form of dulcimer (the fretted kind, not the one that you play with hammers, though I guess either would work) would be pretty cool I reckon. Because of the tunings they’re usually used with, they’re very approachable for non-stringed-instrument type people!

Lap steel guitar is relatively easy to play and should be interesting. I have one sitting around I haven’t ayed in ages but might suddenly have a use for it again.
Mountain dulcimer could be good too.
Electric uke? Or of course guitar.
Mandolin I wonder about, the dual strings (courses) might be an issue with the magnets or might be really cool…

I believe @rbeny is planning on using it on a mandolin. Perhaps he can report back

If that’s what it is, then it may not be a million miles away from the Tonium Pacemaker. The Pacemaker was hugely fun to play with and sounded great, but ultimately the market for dedicated handheld DJ hardware didn’t support it.
Still some remnants of a fan community out there I think: https://pacemakerdevice.org

Nostalgia triggered
I wanted one so badly when they came out, and eventually picked one up cheap on eBay after production ended. Haven’t dusted it off in years though. Will have to dig it out.

Also consider spring reverb devices with an accessible spring like the Eckdahl Moisturizer.
