If you look on the recur tv group someone is testing cv with it now! I am probably going to design a RPI cradle with a computer module whenever my uni work clears up in a few weeks.

I bet there would be a way to do it with the terminal tedium. Yeah, you’d probably have to have an hdmi cable poking out of your case or get north coast Modular’s panel. It would at least be the hardware, 6 cv inputs and audio i/o, but getting them to speak with whatever application would be the uncharted territory.

Sorry to be dense, but what is terminal tedium?

Man, sorry that I haven’t been looking in lines. The terminal tedium is eurorack module that provides 6 cv inputs, stereo audio I/O, as well as digital I/O. Has a PSU but it’s really only capable of handling a pi zero unless you up the regulator current And then you might not have much of +12V rail afterwards. But yeah, a euro module with a pi header on the back for integrating the pi with euro.

Hello! Thanks for this thread.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, basic video looper for Raspberry Pi? I have a Pi 3b. I’m looking to loop mp4 files.

r_e_c_u_r is pretty good

as far as looping goes you’ll want to look at recur listed in the OP

Just beginning to explore rpi video stuff - really loving the amount of work you’ve put in here, it’s amazing! I have a small (probably silly) question… I burned the 1.5 image and it boots up into Scrawl, everything is working great. However how do I get back to the desktop to run another program?

plug in a USB keyboard and press escape!
thank you very much

I know at least one more thing has been released since I put this up and after vidicon I will put some more work into scrawl.

So from the looks of things to run any of this stuff I’ll have to make an actual Linux distribution imaged micro SD, right?

There’s no way to just download each app individually?

what you are downloading from any of these will be an .iso to flash onto an microSD card and it has the linux distribution handled.

if you download the Scrawl distribution I’ve got Scrawl, waaave pool ,spread (my colorizer), spectral mesh on the desktop as bash scripts to make running everything easier.

otherwise you have to open terminal get to the correct folder and make then run your script. It is much simpler to do this with the bash scripts like I have.

it is easy to add them once you have a linux distribution setup.

just go to github and download the folder and put it in the correct place.
