I have the microbook II and have experienced no problems. I also have the Zoom R8, no problems with that either.

In defense of Apogee I have to add that there seem to be a lot of people out there without any problems. Still, it’s a risk with your OS, Computer, Hardware chain.

And I appreciate that. My reaction is more existential than targeted against Apogee specifically. The last few years have been a frustrating dance with Apple where each release feels more like a Russian Roulette with more bullets in the chamber. But anyway, this is an old and off-topic chestnut. Thanks again though for the heads-up!

Hope no one minds the necro-bump here, but I’m in a similar searching situation…

I’m trying to find a basic, small-as-possible, “good enough” USB 2-in/2-out interface.

This is basically a follow-on from my post in Your iOS arsenal : ideally I would be able to find a USB-C hub with pass-through charging, stereo line in, and stereo line out in a single package, but barring that, a USB interface dongle to attach to a generic hub seems like the more realistic option, given how little I’ve been able to find.

There are plenty of 1-in/2-out dongle-sized interfaces on amazon that go for between 8 and 30 euro, but I can’t for the life of me find a 2/2 version that fits the same form-factor. Basically, the old Griffin iMic with less cable…

Anyone have any leads?
