Relax new user reply limit for Jamuary?

I’m a long-time lurker and new user on Lines. I started out by posting daily sketches to the Jamuary thread, and intend to do so until the end of the month, but Discourse will not allow me to post more than two replies to each thread at my current “trust level”.

I do intend to participate more broadly here in the future, but the entire point of Jamuary is that one records and posts new jams daily in this particular month, so I would appreciate it if this limit can be temporarily removed/relaxed, perhaps for the Jamuary thread only.

(Edit: I guess posting this very thread took care of the issue I do wonder if there’s also a limit for the “Basic” level, though.)

I’m not a meta/admin, but my understanding is that the preferred local approach is to edit your existing thread—you can always chronicle a few days of jamuaries in one go!

yep, I think editing a post to add subsequent jams would be a good way to go about this!
