Thank you for this patch! I was able to reproduce it, between squinting at your video and Todd’s. It was a valuable procedure! I would not have thought to run the rungler sine into the Twin Peak input–an unconscious bias I’m glad to have uncovered. Also forces me to dig more deeply into what the TP can do. A++

A particular kind of chaotic patch I keep returning to again and again is OSC SYNC + RUNGLER + TWIN PEAK. I had fun this evening extending it with the DUAL ENV to give it a more performative element - https://www.instagram.com/p/CH6nZkiJMVq/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Finally got both Hordijks set up in the studio. We had to get a bit clever (but not too clever) because the standard system cases have ball corners and won’t sit flat. So we drilled some indentations into the desk. Still this won’t prevent system from pitching forward when unpatched so we came up with a simple hack around the handle.

While it lends the air of a dungeon, this setup so far feels more natural to interact with than the recommended stand. With the K&M stand you still have to angle the case correctly to prevent forward pitching, and of course the stand makes the system rest higher making patching a bit awkward when seated.

We setup the Roland MPU-101(originally purchased for Laurie Spiegel Music Mouse MIDI -> CV) right next to the left system, so that gives us a direct route from sequencing up to 4 voices in Logic. Voice stacked patches are really simple due to the Hordijk VCOs having the option to be tuned to C + the 1/v oct chain outputs. Haven’t had an opportunity to really crosspatch both systems but definitely looking forward to it!

As far as interesting sonic experiments, finally got around to running a drum computer (TR-09) through the SHAPER and the FRQ SHIFTER - both sound, really, really good

Thanks so much! I’ve had Blippoo for about 2 years now… I enjoy just tuning it into a nice sounding setting and then let it do it’s thing… but finally now, I want to understand its behaviour a bit more. Would love to also get some hints from other users, settings to try out etc.

In this image from the article, there’s some sort of matrix mixer looking thing in the middle - anyone have an idea of what that actually is?

Looks like a variation of Rob’s mini matrix / node proc module.

I found a better image of it - you can read the label - it says “Active Matrix” - I believe this evolved into the Mini Matrix and Node Proc in his standard system.
