Anyone make a format jumbler standalone box, banana/1/4" (like Low-Gain UTL-2), but with passive attenuators? Switched things around, lost a mixer and pair of outputs.

I’ve been thinking about making a combination format jumbler matrix mixer.

It also looks like the Ladik M-17x pannable mixers would be relatively trivial to convert to banana… might be neat to make a little semi-passive mixer panel that combines both.

jump on the banana boat ( :rofl:)! dip your toes into Serge 4u land. the waters are nice and warm. not sure how well they play with the Ciat Lonbarde stuff though

the only eurorack I’ve kept is the monome/mannequins stuff…like a serge panel, the mannequins modules seem like they go together as a coherent “system”

would you mind describing how you went about making them? and how are they mounted to the rack stand? I would love to create something like that for my setup :slight_smile:

that was a quick project. There are L-shaped aluminum profiles, screwed to the side of the R**S boats. There is a copper stripe in between which was there before i mounted the utilities. Technically, there are linear 50K pots (passive attenuators). With banana you need a ground from the power-source.

would you mind taking a picture of the sides and how the brackets are mounted to the boats and in relation to the jacks/pots? at least with the rack ears and rack stand I have, I’m not sure how there would be space to mount to the stand with the extra jacks there…

oh i get it now. thanks for the pictures. so, the serge boats themselves dont have rack ears on them…I assuming the the black utility strips are drilled into the boats physically coupliing them to one another? very intriguing
