Hi again, finally I own a Monome which came in pristine condition and for uknown reason expected to be bigger than it is… LOL! I did test both on my PC and Macbook and noticed that despite is not the fastest is still running 14% only in CPU, I could do better with a i5 I know but to only run monome apps seems quite stable on my Core 2 Duo Alu.

SevenUp 2.05d , is that working? there are 2 cores and one only sees the 128 and does not connect my 64…

Thanks

SevenUp hasn’t been updated in a very long time. It would probably require old versions of Java, etc to make it work (and then you’d have open security holes).

Was there something specific that you wanted to do with SevenUp? It was kind of a swiss army knife. If you mention which parts of it were most interesting to you, we might be able to suggest alternatives.

Oh well…no thanks then…shame it was an interesting one, I managed ( almost ) to put my head around sum m4live but can’t get much about loading modules FIRST as it does not seems stable

If you are a Max for Live user, you might enjoy terms, which is sum broken up into multiple M4L modules.

@elquinto has converted a few other great monome apps for M4L use

His re:mix app is a great modern version of mlr.

With the exception of the “collected” and “collected-ms” repositories, the apps in monome-community are known to work.

Work is ongoing to test old apps to figure out which ones still work. If you’re feeling adventurous, a huge list of monome apps that may or may not work is here.

Thanks jason, I’m a huge fan of el quinto re:mix and main reason why finally decided to step in trying it out ( using gridlock on my launchpad mini ) and now on my monome 64, terms works fine and overall is just matter of see which is more stable as it seems some max 6 are definitely more stable than 7 ( just tried MLRV on max 7 and crashed after 4 minutes ) I just have to enjoy this amazing machine and look forward ( money eh?..) to grab a 128 version.

Appreciate your help
