Not strymon iridium (yet? :p) but I plug my pedalboard directly in my audio interface. As soon as you use DSP pedal you already have layers of ADC DAC anyway.
This is exactly how I’m using the Strymon Iridium. Still early days (only had it for a few weeks), but I’m super-happy with it for recording so far. If you have specific questions or you want some audio samples, just let me know

I got my Arcade and cards right before I jumped into modular so I haven’t spent a whole lot of time with it yet, but I can tell you that it sounds superb and the cards are awesome.
I have recently gotten Arcades, with the synth and grain cards. The synth card has not really been in the pedal much, the grain card is great and as soon as I get the midi cable I am thinking it will be awesome. Much like having a clouds for guitar - very nice. I am very happy with it - if it was just that in a pedal it would make it worth it for me.

Haha yeah, living the alt rock dream. Very rarely get to turn the Hiwatt up to an interesting volume any more. Tokyo apartments aren’t exactly renowned for their robust soundproofing.

I wonder if anyone happens to know whether this is a guitar by a known manufacturer. This is my first band guitar. I bought it from my guitar teacher by the time (Jazz). I doubt that it is a quality guitar, it has no label or inscription whatsoever and maybe it was fabricated by some hobby guitar builder. The pickup and the volume knob was added later and I guess it was never planed to be amplified (hollow body); the tuning keys are not original; it has an extraordinary thick neck. And right now it is in rather bad shape. But it sounds quite nice and also I have some memories tied to it.
have you spied inside the f-holes (possibly with a light/mirror) to check for labels or inscriptions? how long have you had it?
Oh yes, I have. Nothing to see. I own this guitar since around 1982 (my oh my … time goes by).
could be a hobbyist then, who knows. Usually a professional maker would inscribe the underside of the top at the least (unless they’re working undercover )
Yes, I think so. Well, obviously it was an ambitious one. So despite its flaws I did and further will honor the instrument as a precious unique piece.

So either it is a variation of that or the secret hobby master regarded the Hofner as an inspiration.
