The exposed tank on the Spring Tanker is a really cool idea. Surprised no one else has done that since Tom discontinued it.

Ekdahl moisturizer even more exposed and playable - would love to have that as well!
Pulp logic has a big exposed spring tank 1u eurorack tile which looks excellent - I have the spring reverb driver tile which sounds really nice

Has Brian started shipping them with clear screen stickers as so many people are reluctant to peel them off?

It’s been a long time since I patched the two systems together, but I’m glad I did. I had a fun evening.

Hello everyone,
hope you are keeping safe and in good health.

This is my system, it is complemented by a grid and a tanzbar.

There is also a DIY norns, a MI Anushri and a little mixer with some pedals fxs.
I have never been satisfied by Euro fx.

Was video chatting with a friend and wanted to show him my synths so I laid them out. I’ve adopted the one-case-one-instrument philosophy, and I like it!

Do you have these on Modular Grid? Very curious about the back two…

oooh, a dual Phonogene case. looks fun!

Most recent iteration of my setup. Still getting used to the newest additions: Generate 3 and Belgrad, but both seem to have amazing flexibility and range of timbres.

Also really enjoying getting deeper with Tetrapad/Tete: using it for chords with 4 voices or crazy patch morphing with voltages, and the sequencing of both. Such a powerful combo.

Hey there, the back one is just the make noise tape and microsound system. The front one is here

Agreed! I’ve thought about breaking up some of my cases and I just can’t do it. Having discrete systems that can also interact with each other is my fun zone.

I once had a larger single case and would so often get patch-choice-paralysis I just had to break things up. I’m happy to say, though, that breaking things up has roughly mapped to more artistic output from me. So that is an indication to me I am on the right track, personally.

Love this, would like to see a more ‘overhead’ photo so we could see what’s going on. I take it by “one case per instrument” that you don’t cross-patch the cases overly much?

You’re working on two levels of modular here - modules arranged into meta-modules. You should try patching the outputs of each skiff into a stand-alone matrix mixer for maximum fractal mindmelt. Remember to hit record

Thank you! Next time they’re all out at once I’ll snap a pic. Hah, I guess that’s exactly your point—you’re right I don’t cross patch much. I like to record pieces from each and then compose with those pieces. Certain kit feels right for creating and other feels right for processing.

I would love a matrix mixer—saving/scoping out the options there.

I had been waiting since November on an order for a second Disting mk4, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise when the EX dropped and superseded the two mk4 plan. That and the FX Aid filled the last open slots this week. The intention is to keep this as is for at least a couple years - though I have considered slipping a Crow in the mix at some point. Regardless, I’m quite happy with this set of modules - plenty of direct hands on control while at the same time plenty of depth/alternate modes to explore should I wish to wander into less-charted territory.

I see room for a Sloth in that 1u row!

I am assembling a small Malekko Wiard instrument. Grant Richter is an amazing designer and these modules benefit from being with their Wiard family. As they are 10 years old I guess this is ‘vintage’ eurorack. Would like to add an XMIX and Oscillator and relocate into a slightly bigger case, then it’s done.

A few weeks ago I decided I either needed to sell it all, or buy a bigger case. I bought a bigger case (and the modules to fill it). :grimacing:
