My workflow with this system is mostly recording, looping, and processing external “instruments”. What is so simple and intuitive with "Lion” is to change the audio routing or inserting filters or effects in the signal chain. I use color-coded patch cables and the audio routing is more permanently installed. Of course, you can do the same with stackables, multiples, or re-patching, however, un-patching the “pins” takes no effort and can lead to new discoveries.

changing things up a bit in the drone rack, finally trying out some serge tools. that bottom row is malleable, and will probably have a morphagene and dipole rotated in and out in place of the mangrove and sisters.

My small / minimal modular system in diy wooden case : with random gate-cv module, resonator module, and granular audio processor. I designed like lunch box for possible to bring it on travel backpack.

I picked up a squid salmple and a rene mk1  Also, I finally took the time to raise the rails, makes it more playable.

Got this Expert Sleepers Little Mikey. Anyone Own it too? To be honest I’m not so satisfied with it, the gain knob get steep on the near 60dB gain (guess the curve of the pot is not perfectly exponential to straighten the log gain). Also there is an audible noise when turning knob. Though it does the job for turning mic signal to line level, the input signal is clipping easily (small headroom). Hence that I cannot crank up the gain, so the output signal would be lower than a proper line level, and further away from modular level, it kinda lose the purpose for what I wanted.

I might swap this to my other larger systems.

Built a new case in anticipation of some modules from @taylor - skipped measuring and found out too late one of my rails is like 85 hp >.>
Still sturdy and looks okay to me though, going to be getting some brackets to make it lees obvious

The RackBrutes are actually 85 on the rows with the power supplies, and it’s a weird, but workable size! There are some solid candidates for odd hp modules that can work. :relaxed:

Totally! All the Erica pico stuff is 3hp I think? Thing is my other racks are 84 hehe

Probably going to sell a couple moogerfoogers and get a small poly. I love moogerfoogers though, and if it weren’t for the drastically inflated prices I’d actually be very interested in more Sirins. I love how they sound, would be fun to polychain.

Most recent iteration. Newest additions are Plonk which I’m mainly using for melodic tuned voices so far, love it in contrast to traditional VCO’s. And Knights Gallop, which I’ve wanted for ages, and is all I expected: simple, hands on and fun!

looks great! Good job with the build!

Latest incarnation of my modular machine.
I moved to an all INSTRUO analog oscillators + Rings for the sound generation duties.

I love these MPC Live customisations-who does these? I saw a very slick Dibiase machine…

Thanks! I love it too. I got mine from MPC Stuff. They were actually selling this one pre-modded on reverb but their website does have skins, pads, and knobs if you wanted to do it yourself. I was going for exactly this look regardless so I figured why not let the experienced ones handle it.

Make sure you run the pitch row of the 0CTRL into signal in Marbles if youre not already. Ive also had some fun with this pairing as well!

Here’s my newest setup. I just got this awesome new rack in today (picked up from a lines member), and filled it up. I’m planning to place a sizable NLC order which will fill a lot of my 1U slots. Also have a few holes to fill, but they’re planned for. Looking forward to patching on this this weekend!

I agree with everyone here! I love your panels. The one thing I have not yet dared to diy. From afar they seem pretty good, in spite of your comments. Did you just take the drills in the file from the GitHub and sent it to be made? Where to? Anyhow, very nice!

Looks awesome, a lot of those modules have been in there before
