I’ve been obsessed lately with making up a different mini system each week… here’s this weeks iteration…

I love setting strict boundaries and limitations to work within… I always tend to get better results that way

I self-assembled my System Cartesian, so I know the feeling. Good luck!

ooh is that a real copy of the strange 2nd edition? very nice

Yup, 1983 edition… I bought it online a few years ago and just dug it out again

Just got the last module for the Euroblip, my attempt at a euro Blippoo Box with added random modulation and a delay in a Pod 40X. It’s a lot of fun.

How versatile would you say it is as a standalone unit (‘instrument’)?

Let’s see if I can get a Soundcloud track to work… this is one basic patch that I was tweaking, I cut out some of the interesting bits for an overview of what it can do.

Even standalone I think it does a lot of really great things. There’s almost two sides to it: The non-pinging filtering side and the pinging filter side. One is gnarly and nasty, the other is organic and pleasant. The track above should cover both to some extent. And then of course it integrates really well with any other euro gear. But the point of the box is to see what I can do with it solo.

Where did u get dem nice usb cables for the grid and arc?

What’s the stand your modular is on?

Thanks!!! I found another user here who linked this, can’t remember who but this K&M stand is really perfect for the 7u cases!

I don’t know if I’ve posted in this thread before. If I did it was a while ago.

The 5U stuff is 99% DIY. The euro stuff, not so much.

I assume you’re using JF as a VCO? Very cool. I’m addicted to using it as an env generator, but as you know, the module is a Swiss Army Knife.

I bought a nightstand from Ethnicraft about a year ago.
Now ive moved together with my girlfriend and the nightstand didnt have place in our new flat…so i tried to put my Verbos system on it. And its a perfect match, looks like it was made for my Verbos system. :star_struck:

I bought my first synthesizer module almost exactly five years ago, and I think today is the first time my rig has been full (allowing for that slot that has already been claimed by an impending avian object). Glamor shot courtesy of the early evening California sun. There’s other stuff nearby, like a Grid and a PiSound.

I’m not sure how long the Erbe-Verb will be here. It’s powerful, and probably more (re)verb than I need. The biggest surprise for me with the Erbe-Verb is that I enjoy it upstream more than downstream. It’s neat, sure, at the end of the chain, suggesting this has all been taking place in a grand, dank chasm. But it’s really neat, to me, how it can take the simplest sine wave and transform it exponentially, and how the result can then be turned into pads or percussion or an underlying haze. Also pondering replacing the Dixie VCO with a second Knit (aka uPlaits). Hemispheres (on the uO_c) has significantly reduced my use of Disting, so we’ll see what’s up with that. I’m digging the Muxlicer, but it’s too soon to say how long it’ll be around. I keep considering getting rid of the UL-1, and then I back away.

May I ask what keyboard that is?
