This is a massive size reduction from my previous setup. I’ll likely move Eloquencer to a control skiff along with my more playable modules eventually.

Finally got a patch going with all my modules in a new diy case. Took a long time before I was able to make it happen. So excited I can work in one place at a dedicated desk!

From modest beginnings a few months ago I’ve almost filled my 7U case. Right now I’m trying out my new E352 Cloud Terrarium with semi-random modulations from a Teletype script. I’m really enjoying this new addiction!

I spend a lot of time coding on norns these days, and my 301 was just being neglected. I found that I was only really reaching for the more immediate modules. So I let it go. That said, the 301 is a wonderful module, and some day I could see myself with another. :slight_smile:

How are you getting along without the er-301 in terms of mixing? Sometimes I think about excising mine (don’t dislike just hard for the more on the fly stuff I’ve been doing recently), but having so many ins for mixing is so useful.

lately I have been doing most of my mixing with the Tx/n and the Quad VCA, using the cockpit as a sort of final mixer. There are lots of mixing options in there :slight_smile: (cold mac can do 8 to 1, levit8 can be two 3 to 1 or one 7 to 1, x-pan is 3 stereo channels)

Have recently reconfigured a small room we use for our home office / my hobby studio. Got some built in desks with cable management to make the most of the space we have. I know the monitors should be higher up…!

I thought seriously about getting a single case for the modular stuff (ADDAC, Synthracks here in the UK) but the price differential between that and buying a couple more LC Doepfer ones was just too much.

Relevant to another couple of threads here:

  • For audio interfaces, I have the MOTU 828es which is great, and a secondary interface via ADAT, the Behringer Ultragain.
  • I’ve therefore got 18 inputs, which is complete overkill, but means I can pull in individual elements from the modular as individual tracks to process/edit later.
  • 2 of the front inputs on the MOTU are free for rapid recording of guitar / stuff through a microphone.
  • I’ve also chucked in a plant, because I was jealous of everyone else’s.
  • Oh, I’ve also got the 128 Varibright Grid but I’ve missed that out of the shot for some reason.

I finally got this keyboard and it seems very nice but unfortunately I cannot get it to work with Teletype. The TT behaves very strangely when the keyboard is connected - the screen flickers and no keys are recognized. Did you need to do anything special to configure the keyboard?

oh no!
Try charging it elsewhere then connecting it. Maybe your tt doesn’t like the draw, or on the keyboard itself you could be in a weird mode (there’s many)…?

Ah I got it! Like you suggested, I fully charged it and then connected it with the bottom switch turned off. Then FN->Tab to switch to USB mode. Works great and I love it. Thanks!

yeah, glad you got it working! its a much cheaper alternative, but actually it does have cherry mx buttons that can be replaced if you get a key puller. i haven’t done it yet, but i’ve been considering switching out a few keys just to be hella kewl.

I’m curious why you have a uzeus when the shuttle control can act as a power supply. Is it not enough juice?

i know, i don’t have the original brick from endorphines so i have to check which one of mine works with the shuttle, probably the uzeus one will work too
