Is there variation in the colour of the faceplates? I have a Dunst which seems rather more yellow than the green I see on other modules. It seems one Dunst is more yellow than the other in your wonderful system. Perhaps just an illusion?

OMG, where on earth did you get that black trigger riot panel!!!

One is more yellow! I bought this one directly from synthmall. Perhaps peter was switching things up. I think it adds some nice character.

I’ve only seen yellow Dunst’s thus far, not the other modules. I wonder if it was a decision or a strange batch. Is your yellow younger than your green?

I actually got those at about the same time. One was from control in NY and the other was straight from synthmall (the yellower one). Not sure what caused it!

hehe had it made special,:relieved:

wes over at greyscale was kind enough to do a one off for me, a bit spendy but well worth it for aesthetics.

So sick. I didn’t realize they were open to small runs., You should look into BKM modular, a guy named Bryan who makes make noise-esque black panels which are gorgeous. He’s great to deal with and has some panels for modules that no one else is doing. Your setup up looks dope btw!

yea i’ve got quite a few from bkm already, patiently waiting on him to do the tangle quartet and the 1u line. :fire::fire::fire:

I just finished my new custom stand to stack my two cases. I really feel at home with this setup. Machinedrum on the left, Timeline and Bigsky pedals on the right. A lot of Intellijel modules, ER-101 to sequence the Dixie ii+ and Shapeshifter in the 7U, Metropolis to sequence the Atlantis in the 4U.

Last stop on this Summer’s trip for the traveling studio, before returning to NYC. The new stuff gets to play with some old friends. It’s a pretty temporary arrangement, until I have time to build out a proper studio down here on the banks of the Ohio River.

Rearranged some things yesterday so I could put together a focused looping system.

I’ve based it around the idea of a 3 head tape machine. The Reflex Liveloop acts like the tape, since it varies the sample rate when changing speeds and produces that nice repitching warble, and I’m using the Disting’s triangle to sine shaper, a lowpass, and Tallin’s asymmetric overdrive to help simulate a tape sound. Then the signal is passed along to the D0 which acts like two additional playback heads. It’s mostly a hands-on performance system as the only real modulator here is Batumi. I wanted to set something up with a very narrow function set and just dedicate a week or so to recording things with it.

First recording session this morning went well! Looping and mangling samples from one of Claude Debussy’s Preludes.

That looks amazing. How deep have you dug into the modes on the Liveloop? So far, I’ve just scratched the surface on mine with the delay mode.

It was the first module I got and I’ve been using it for almost 2 years, and I can honestly say that I have yet to get through everything it can do  It’s such a deep module and so much fun to use.

I’ve probably used it as an echo the most, and I use the stutter effect a lot (it’s used in both of these clips). I really love the layering mode and the peak slicer. And I use it as a multisample instrument–I have 3 or 4 banks saved that each have 60 samples of either drums or mono-synth patches so I can play them with a keyboard–great way to save patches from the modular that I really like.
