Beast-Tek Amoeba high five! Curious how you use yours. I use mine in concert with a Trigger Riot to add unpredictable and interesting drum hits to my drum lines.

I got it specifically to trigger the 8 inputs on the Squid Salmple which results in instant drum machine action… haven’t had it too long so still experimenting with all the different beat patterns, haven’t delved too far into its crazy side yet

And better with sound!

I’d like to hear some examples. I’ve almost gotten it a few times, but there aren’t many demos out there.

this is a better glance at the innards of it

Your setup both looks incredibly aesthetically pleasing and well curated. I’d love playing it!

just built a 126 HP rack for ‘development’ purposes…
(current projects are for terminal tedium, bela pepper… and later bela trill  )

eurorack need not be expensive…
rack kit was about €100 and some scraps of wood, trivial to build, and a couple of hours of messing about

whats nice about the DIY approach, is after the main dev works is done, I plan to adapt/rip this apart, and give it a new form (a specialised controller focused rack based of bela trill) , reusing all the parts from the kit… it could also be extended very cheaply if needed.

of course, now means i need to go re-arrange my main rack… as it nows got a bit more space!

Wow never had heard of terminal tedium before, watched some videos and ordered pcb/panel immediately! Seems like a lot of fun.

what’s that behind Terminal Tedium? some sort of screen and USB expander for it?

Yeah the main purpose of this case is for me to port Orac to the terminal tedium using these oleds.
I was trying to do in my main rack, but my dev Mac is no where near my rack - and doing on my laptop was tedious.
So after holidays, it’ll be full steam ahead on that

good to know this exists. I have a long-term-work-in-progress project repackaging Terminal Tedium into a module with a screen and better IO. Good to have an existing example of how people are writing data from PD to displays on the pi.

Maybe a whole different eurorack… more of a pedal board approach.

Which rack kit did you use?

It`s a rack kit I bought by a seller on etsy ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/ModularSynthLab).
I did cut the rails a few millimeters to fit the case.

(looks for LFO’s and VCA’s) Hmmmm… It could use some more tremolo. :slightly_smiling_face:

I just finished something similar. We don’t need no stinkin’ VCAs!

You might get a similar effect with the Soma Lyra8FX, Clouds with the Kammerl firmware can do also… so there‘s a lot of tremolo type of fx happening here. :metal:t3:
