Thanks! It’s Grau Modular. A few flaws - I requested threaded strips and got sliding nuts, and I wanted the 1U as the second row from the top - but they did a lovely job otherwise.

Finally tracked down a ADDAC 215 to fill the last 6hp!

It’s a solid matrix mixer - clean and quiet. Always fancied a cluster but 42HP was a tough sell, the clump on the other hand fits in nicely.

I call this The Time & Sound Machine. It’s a digital tape, sound-on-sound, looper/sampler with plenty of manual controls.

It’s based entirely around a simple idea: There is a loop that is constantly recording. I can add sound to it, remove sound from it, resample it, mangle it, overwrite it, move it around in time. Looper as a playable instrument. And it’s really fun to play.

Replaced my behringer with a Zoom L-12 and am loving it. Multitrack recording in the box or out of the box is amazing and I can’t believe it took me this long to do this upgrade. Also the sensel thunder and shuttle system is a ton of fun!

I’m not ashamed to say I’m kind of drooling! I love the aesthetic of the Shuttle System. The only piece of Endorphin.es gear I have is the Cockpit, which I love. Congrats on the L-12! Sorry if it’s already been asked, but what’s the wall treatment? Do you have a projector or something?

Cool pic!

Would be cool if the walls really did look like that but alas it’s just the photoshop camera app

My small instrument. The intention was to use it with computer or MIDI sequencer or keyboard, which can be done with FH-2 nicely, but it can be a standalone machine as well.

How do you like the Hyrlo?

A nice clean mixer. But you will want to change the knobs to something more tiny if you plan to turn them often.

Did you change your knobs, and if so, to what?

Thanks!

No, those are standard, so unfortunately I can’t advice you more proper knobs, but I think it will not be a problem to find.

No more GAS? Keep on dreaming …

I changed them to the small make noise style rogan knobs. But small unskirted sifam intellijel style knobs look nicer in my opinion if you’re not using that module within a make noise system.

Where did you get yours? I’ve never built anything (yet)…

Yes, I know… and in fact that setup has changed quite a lot since the picture was taken

I got them at Thonk!

Knobs feel good and sound is transparent. It does what you expect and can chain to other Hyrlo’s and Ferry’s behind the panel (notably not Ooots tho). I have Ooots and Hyrlo. I got one of the first Ooots and it was missing the LED light pipes. On the same note, my Hyrlo doesn’t have them either, and I believe that is standard. So seeing the level LED’s off angle can present a challenge if that matters to you (someone please correct me if their Hyrlo has light pipes). If you need to mix Stereo and you don’t need 4 or 5 channels (STMIX), Hyrlo seems to be the way to go. I haven’t had issue with the knob size myself, but my Hyrlo is mostly mixing down towards the end of chain, so I don’t do a lot of live tweaking there. I ordered a second one and a Ferry yesterday for another rack.

big changes on my modular … added a Percussa SSP
only had it a couple of days, but Im really enjoying it…

I’ve lots of plans for it, including development…
first was to do a test project to test out the ability to create my own modules, turns out it was way enough - I’ve ported Rings already

apologies for the shaky instagram video…
one thing that was awesome is that I could record this directly on the phone, as the SSP is also an audio interface - made it really easy to do this!

Always make me  to see a Telharmonic, a very inspiring and underrated module IMHO
