I got it on a trade. Wasn’t really looking for a delay but figured I’d try it out and I’m glad I did. The infinite loop feature is really cool. I have sequences from Pams going to the infinite loop gate for some random freezes here and there. For my small setup it takes up a lot of HP. Never thought I’d use that much space for a delay but it is worth it.

Hi all!
New here and just browsing for threads to post in

Here is my current rack in KOSMO Format.
The top row is mostly Look Mum No Computer modules and the first few on the bottom row are yours truly, as well as the KOSMO Euro Playset that I created.

And here is my modest Eurorack

(Gotta finish that elements lol)

Yes, I did some live streams in June and compiled those performances into an ambient mix:

Cheers!

Beautiful sounds @yittabitta. I’m assuming you plug lots of instruments into that thing - would be curious to see your live setup after hearing the stream. Also enjoyed listening to one of your single/b-sides, great work.

Thanks so much @Sam_Squarewave. For this first month, the main goal was to get really comfortable playing this as the instrument. So I’ve been creating a few samples/loops and loading them onto the Morphagene’s SD card. Then I “play” them into the loop. However, adding live instruments is very much a near future plan.

I’ll be streaming again this Sun @ 7AM & 7PM (Brooklyn time) if you’d like to check it out: https://www.mixcloud.com/live/yittabitta/

You make beautiful music with it! Sometimes there is a point where such a massive system becomes a hindrance to music making, but you keep up a really high output of quality music.

Thanks a lot, appreciate the kind words regarding my music.

I wouldn’t consider this a massive system, maybe because I know all the modules well. When at meetups, even the smallest skiff leaves me thinking I have no clue what to do with it…

Two years ago I decided to start finalizing and rounding off the system (within the hps I had), with the simple (?) goal to end up with a system that I would be able to explore and experiment with 10 years from now. Not there yet, but getting closer :smirk:

As they say:
The goal is in the way. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m very excited that this has just joined my little collection of single brand systems. the missing screw is driving me nuts.

Big changes over here this week. Building an extended MN Shared System in my main case, seen below. Had to pull hundreds of HP out which have gone back into focused smaller skiffs and pods. Already loving them all especially this case. Still waiting for Morphagene, Mineophone and XOH.

Indeed! It’s going to be a great pair with Morphagene!

Plan on filling that space in the middle with Zlob entropy+expander as well as minimix #3. Thinking of swapping Timo’s comp with a Lollipop I’ve just about got done. Then I’m full up I suppose, time to build case #3.

Had a few exciting updates to this, thanks to scoping out used modules and well-priced Mutable clones. I’ve got a Microcell incoming, as well as a Crow that my best friend Max (who lurks somewhere on this forum) bought me as a late bday present.

I’m starting to learn Max (the program, not the person), so Crow and Sol will be trading duties for computer/Fates connection as situations come about, although Crow’s MaxMSP integration is something I’m really looking forward to as I becoming proficient in patching. I’ve been sequencing from and recording to Fates as a standalone performance platform with the modular, but I find that the midi clock out over USB is unstable, so notes and modulations have been unsynced from each other for the past few recording sessions. Truth be told, it’s a pretty good-sounding problem to have!

Also: Tides is amazing. If I ever reconfigure this case to have less+larger modules, that’s one I’ll absolutely buy a full-size, original version of. Can’t say enough good things about it.

I’m calling this system finally, once-and-for-all, DONE. For those unfamiliar with the bottom row, they are from 1979. Can’t say enough good things about the quality of Wes’ modules:

that looks like a lot of fun

I think I’ve about finished a new album that’ll hopefully see the light of day eventually, so figured it was a good time to wander/tinker/explore for a bit with a new configuration and try out a Crossfold for the first time.

Wow, the Mini-Slew lights are bright!
