Just for laughs! seeing all these tidy studios i thought i will post a picture of my tidy space…

Damn!! How many tiny eurorack cases have you made!?!? My kind of real right there.

Do you have any examples of the entity used in this way? Sounds interesting!

My primary 6U system that I’ve been using for the past 6 years. Settled into this configuration about 2 years after getting into eurorack.

After being very disciplined about not giving in to any unnecessary expansion for so long, I recently gave myself permission to build a second larger system to broaden my sound design options with another 12U.

Typically sequence everything with a Cirklon, but also have a couple of alternative sequencing pods.

Recent pickup of the Teletype is what brought me to lines  – looking to complement it with 2x TXo and 2x TXi soon.

Studio rebuild is currently in progress, will share photos of everything in situ once it’s complete :call_me_hand:

that picture was taken during covid 19 solder lockdown! I nearly finished my build backlog  It’s looking better now thank god. I’m a big fan of tiny small systems!

Your first case is pleasingly symmetrical. Interesting to see two o’tools in such a small case… am I really missing a trick not having an oscilloscope? Do you find yourself using them frequently?

The use of double O’Tools was mostly borne out of a desire to immediately be able to see what was happening with any of the four voices in the system to quickly troubleshoot any issues during live performances.

Maintaining the symmetry probably also played a role :joy:

I’m only just starting out with eurorack but I have found my O’Tool+ indispensable for understanding how voltage is flowing through the system and how different modules are interacting (especially things like Maths and Cold Mac).

So, more than anything I find it a wonderful learning tool. If you already understand CV and signal flow very deeply it may be less important but I don’t think I’ll get rid of it anytime soon.

I don’t see any Tenori-On’s :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Current iteration of a TipTop Mantis case.
Doesn’t feel quite settled yet. The 0-coast above it is also integrated, and there’s a small case with a English Tear out of picture that is used together with the MS20 to the right.
Sequencing is done with Pamela, Voltage Memory and Mimetic Digitalis primarily, but also quite often midi from Ableton Live via the ES-3 module. I would like to have another small dedicated gate sequencer though, that allows for more precise pattern editing than PNW does.
Plonk is perhaps what feels most out of place – the regular “trying to do everything”-mistake – but it still gets used quite often. I rarely make full compositions using only the rack, but rather in combination with other synths and samplers in the studio, multi tracking, editing, re-cycling… Also feel I sometimes miss a more bread-and-butter type filter, but there’s always the MS20 and a Moog Minutaur that takes external inputs.

feeling at home with the current setup. at the point where there’s a nice balance between intuition and experimentation.

used this environment to create this: ruins form

Got a new case today and downsized a bit. I think the intellijel 7u goes with my overall aesthetic a lot better than my wood studio case. New module day too! Chronoblob 2

Completely tangential to modular systems but you’ve no idea how quickly I opened a new tab to look up that Uncut Gems diamond chart - that might well have to be my ridiculous spontaneous purchase for the month once I get over the shipping cost! Oh - and I love that Caretaker album.

Sandler totally got snubbed. Uncut gems was my favorite (and also the last ) movie I saw in theaters this year!

Cool, it looks like you have an Electrix Mo-FX. I have one of these! It’s pretty good.

It’s a Filter Factory, mate
