SICK setup! Is the SSL SIX worth the penny? Does it make the euro system sound BEEFIER?! had my eyes on one for some time now, hope to hear your feedback.

jajaja OMG what a horrible view!

stenographer’s machine case I have been meaning to euro for awhile, 40hp and will get another 40hp row on top. nice size and the lid actually just holds a grid the other way, which made me instantly regret I hadn’t done the other orientation. all the same this is nice and much more portable than my usual rack tower. waiting on the power mult cables anxiously!

What power is that? Make Noise?

Point me in the direction of that keyboard. So nice!

yeah, someone here sold it to me, ripped out of a MN skiff.

Latest project is a Vector-driven physical modeling rack paired with the Easel Command. Also can add the Double Knot in to the mix. Really digging the combo and crazy possibilities.

Edit: sounds like this

Why do you find it dysfunctional? It looks great and fun to me

I’m going to try to settle on this setup for a while. It’s inspired by systems like the Random*source Mantra and the Make Noise Cartesian. It’s mainly used to make loopy stuff to feed to my Octatrack and make psychedelic techno, but I’m surprised by how melodic the 0-CTRL and Marbles combo can get.

I really love that SSL. it has two of these famous compressors and one master compressor. if these are beefier than other mixers compressors i dont know. but i really think it has a great sound and a lot of head room.

I think we’re into making different stuff with our modular gear. My music is really polite and I sort of like quiet.
But I totally get that frustrating feeling when it doesn’t feel right. That’s why I’ve sold/traded over a hundred modules over the years, some of them have came and went two-three times. Clouds is one of them…

tElharmonic itself is hard work. one thing i learned from using Odessa is that harmonics get in the way of audio-rate modulation, especially FM, and that tiny amounts of modulation can have profound effects on the output sound. tElharmonic doesn’t provide much control over its additive nature. my gripe with it is the oscillator drift I can’t get away from, with the controls it provides. a wonderful module but it does create a kind of force field around itself.

but I’m surprised to read QPAS is the wrong thing to run it through.

I’ve had good fun running tElharmonic through Rings. Also in shift-register mode rhythmically through a simple LPG.

Someone mentioned this in a different thread, and I have to agree: the 4MS Ensemble Oscillator is, in a lot of ways, what I always wanted the Telharmonic to be.

Haven’t been here for a long time. Hope everyone is well.
This is my recent setup.

I’d love to hear more. Thinking about the telharmonic for chords/percussion. But the EO seems pretty amazing

what is the first 1U module from the left?

Intellijel Noise Tools 1U with new knobs.

He has a minimal and uniform style with his instruments generally.

Once again I feel “done” with the hunt. Give me a week and I’ll probably be gasing over something new and shiny. Very happy right now though.
