Slow clock modules

While Pamela’s New Workout will let you get down to 10bpm with up to a 512 division the new firmware for the Mordax Data now offers four clock outputs with a main clock speed as slow as 0.01bpm and will divide that by as much as 48 for some serious glacial clock speeds.

Been ages since I checked, but the bubblesound uLFO had one of the slowest cycles in the game at >30min

Am I doing my math right? 0.01bpm/48 = 0.0002bpm = a little over 2 beats per week.

TT’s metro does 30s. use the M script to count to 30k for a 10 days interval. cascade counters to double the length with each bit… gets silly quickly

The TXo can to some crazy stupid stuff in this department if you want it. The device’s metronomes and slew values can be set in milliseconds, seconds, and minutes.

Want a metronome pulse every 22 days, 18 hours, 6 minutes, and 59.9904 seconds?

TO.TR.M.M 1 32767
TO.TR.M.ACT 1 1

Want a slower pulse? Use the pulse divider function!

TO.TR.P.DIV 1 32767

That will get you a pulse every 2,041 years, 149 days, 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 36 seconds.

Wow. That got ridiculous.

On the reasonable side, I find setting things in minutes and seconds really handy in putting together longer, evolving patches. The .S and .M helper operators are pretty helpful in that regard.

Finally! Music worthy of the label “glacial”!

Putting the evolution into evolving patches!!!

I’m more interested in clock modules that can oscillate faster than the speed of light, in the hope that synthesis will be the key to time travel.
