my favorite riot would calf to be the swing riots and related luddite rabble-rousing—they just weren’t hip to the technological changes. They had many great protest chants such as: “liver free, or die,” “run, walk, lymph, crawl, we don’t like machines at all,” and “are you kidney me? you can stuff your machines up your anus!” :wink:

some other good finds from trying to recall my favorite riots:

  • Paris, 1229 the way universities discipline their students seems to have not changed much… also this lead me to the reasons for cambridge’s founding, after the government hung some oxford students who had murdered a woman, and all the academics fled oxford and some of them founded cambridge… >.>

  • Abolition Riot in Boston, 1836 not sure how much this qualifies as a riot? but cool story.

PS if it makes you feel any better I was raised in a time when I was one of those children not being left behind, and I had multiple similar teachers to yours :slight_smile: in california though, suede-denim secret police and all that.

ah thank you very much ^.^ I almost titled it “spoken word with electronics” but luckily i changed it at the last minute otherwise I’m sure we’d be in an extended legal battle ; ) All credit for track titles have to go to ole willy c williams, he was a pretty good writer as it turns out!
