Remember how I was planning to start cheap and move up toward things I want later on down the road? So much for that. I keep a constant eye on the Trades section and, once again, this forum comes through for me. I’d been watching lots of videos of performances / patches featuring the Telharmonic prior to @fourhexagons posting one up for sale, and now I’m going to be buying Bryan’s Telharmonic as a birthday present for myself.

any faves you’d be willing to link?

Also, just wanted to add that CV Pal is actually a really good kit to build when one is just starting or learning to solder.

Borderlands granular sampler.

Animoog synth

Elastic drums for percussion goodness

Samplr for sampling

Scythe wavetable synth

And pretty much anything you can grab from the audio damage folks is top notch, yes, the same audio damage guys from the euro modules do awesome VSTs and ipad apps, crazy stuff totally worth checking out.

I’m planning to buy yet another module from a lines member (this time, a modDemix from fellow Chicagoan, @Tyresta), and I’m also planning to sell the Quattro Figaro that I just can’t seem to gel with. How the case will look with the modDemix and without the Quattro Figaro:

And a sketch of where I’m planning to go with it:

Lots of kit builds on the top row and 28HP to spare since I’m undecided on what else to throw in. Smaller things–offset/attenuators, logic, sequential switches, S&H, etc–will likely end up there but I’m not 100% decided on any particular thing just yet. Thoughts/suggestions/advice?

I’m desperately trying to make space for the Folktek Alter 2.

Just got to sell and reshuffle a few things. I’ve spent a few hours with the Folktek Conduit and it reminded me of how a modular should be something that you can explore like an instrument. Not just a problem-solving system for timbral urges. I hadn’t felt like that since day 2 with the Phonogene.

Maybe an analog, “simple” VCO? Something like a Dixie or similar could be nice for FM or just simple sounds along with your more complex digital oscillators, plus such a VCO could also serve as another voltage controlled LFO.

You could also look at the Plague of Demons by Nonlinear Circuits for a powerful DIY VCO. I haven’t built one yet but have heard good things!

I’ve been considering an Dixie or an STO for a while, and didn’t realize until recently that I’ve bought most of the modules that make up a System Cartesian.

i’ll sell my Rings and Clouds (if anyone interested btw) to make space to a second Just Friends and maybe Tapographic Delay

STO is a nice module. Lots of functionality in such a small space. If I decide I need another voice, though, I’d want to build one. In this case I am really attracted to the exos DIY module. Although appears out of stock for now.

I’ve got Dixie and STO… both good, both different, often think about losing the STO for another Dixie, but they complement each other so well…

Short little thing I made with the Conduit. Really making me want to get an Alter 2 or a Black Hole DSP.

have you seen the Instruō Tš-L?
it reminds me a lot of the STO but with wave folding and more controls.

I hadn’t seen this one before. Hard to keep up with them as they’ve got so many prototypes on Modulargrid and not much on their website. I’m also curious about the Aithēr, thanks to @whitenoises’ videos.

And now I’m considering selling / trading my E350… :man_shrugging:t2:

Has anyone seen any videos on this Instruō Tš-L? I’m really curious about it but I don’t see any information out there. I’d like to email Instruō about getting one but I want to hear it in action first. Or at least read some reviews. Does anyone actually own one or have any useful information on it?

My girlfriend bought me an STO for Valentine’s Day, so I’m currently looking at this:

And plans after some sales/trades and kit builds:

Eventually, I’d like to add a Rene to my setup, but Make Noise has reported some issues with using the Rene in my current case, so I’ll have to wait until I have a MN powered skiff or some other approved power solution.
