Thinking about the Velvet Noise uunit from the ER-301 (which, at each sample, has a random chance of firing a 1-sample impulse which has a 50/50 chance of being positive or negative), I came up with a quick Bitwig Grid noise machine:
Proper-ish velvet noise would be blend at 100%. More toward 0% it’s more bursty and sounds more like vinyl crackles and random dropouts.
The multiplier on Density squares it to make the control behave better – replace one of the inputs with another pink noise module for additional roughness, though it doesn’t really do velvet noise anymore. I guess I could build another blend into the patch for that 
edit: It occurs to me I could simplify out the last Add by patching the XOR out into the red input on the Subtract. It’s like I wrote “X + (0 - Y)”
