I installed it successfully but had a very strange moment where I tried to turn off the modular and all the lights, stayedon, then unplugged it and the lights still stayed on - was about to call ghost busters and then realised the whole thing was being partially powered off the USB A - A cable!

how does FLIP work?

I wanted to use walk to add hands free pattern variation but I cant seem to figure out the simplest way to execute the idea…for example if i want a script to trigger flip flops between 0 and 1 at index 4 in the first bank of the tracker, i tried:

PN 0 4 X X FLIP

and

PN 0 4 FLIP

neither worked and i’m stumped
is there another way to pull off this trick?

The firmware update went well but i’m not able to load anything from the thumb drives ( i tried with the TRIANGLE MOUNTAIN one ). Should i format the Thumb drive in anything else than FAT ?

Make sure it’s FAT32, not FAT16.

Not a bug but it would be nice when you hit F1 and then go back to edit, that you don’t lose what you just typed.

holding backspace only deletes 1 character [not 1.1 beta specific, sorry - haven’t had the chance to play with the actual new functionality yet!]

this actually works, probably just not what you intended?

FLIP is a special variable that has its own state. it doesn’t flip the state of the var/etc it’s assigned to (in this case PN 0 4)

so if you execute PN 0 4 FLIP several times, indeed the fifth element of pattern 0 will switch from 0 to 1 to 0 each time.

if you want to simply invert the step, use:

PN 0 4 EZ PN 0 4

P.I works. you’re possibly trying to move the index outside the length of the pattern. make sure your P.L is greater than the index you’re setting.

yeah, that’s a long line. best i can suggest:

use V 10 instead of 16383 as it’s easier to remember anyway (only saves one space though)

assign A to 16383 and B to 1000. use A and B as constants. reference you triggers with 1-4 instead.

i had the same problem (reformatted it often) but then i used a smaller drive and that seemed to work. (a 128mb one from 2004)

Did that several times, and also tried different 3 different ones but nothing seems to happen.
