Teletype Flash Drive Size

Is there a recommended flash drive size for the Teletype? I’d guess that 8GB is large enough, but for all I know 32GB might be ideal???

Also, would USB 3.0 have any advantage?

TT scripts are suuuuuuuuuper tiny. they’re .txt files. there was some weirdness with brand, which is searchable, but i use a 4gb drive i got for free from a maschine demonstration and it works a charm.

If someone managed to create 4GB of Teletype scripts that would be incredibly impressive

Slightly OT but can some one point me in the direction of instructions on using USB to back up. A quick look and I couldn’t really find it.

If I put a USB in it saves my scenes to it but it never seems to read them. Not sure of the procedure.

The scenes that are saved from the Teletype are in the following format.

tt01s.txt

Scenes that are to be loaded into the Teletype are in a similar format, but without the “s”.

tt01.txt

To clarify, if you download a scene from Lines you will then need to rename it on your flash drive.
To load “someScene.txt” into Teletype scene number 10 you’ll rename it

tt10.txt

and then place it on your flash drive.
