I’ve been uploading various items to my Bandcamp page for a while now. Mostly computer and/or tape music, but a bit of acid/bleep, postpunk and archive stuff too!

So every year I’ve been doing a Halloween mix; each mix is Halloween themed, some more evident than others but it’s all there. I started doing them as background music for a Halloween party (horror themes, too) and had so much fun I decided to keep doing them. Most of them are some of my favorite tracks that can only be appreciated once a year, and I know this year is going to be a little weird, what with social distancing and all but I hope you find some enjoyment in them. The rest of the (older) mixes can be found in the playlist below. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I’m at 98% full on soundcloud, and even after paying for the Pro level, which is not quite the Pro really Pro level(?), they ask for more money… There was a “audius using blockchain” article here I didn’t quite get. Do you get out of it similar functionality as Soundcloud? Or is more like trending songs and DJ mixes?

@RMBLRX i decided to try it out just now:

and here’s my soundcloud:

and here’s a newer soundcloud i started this past week for disquiet junto and other stuff:

This is the most I know or can speculate about it:

Currently, you’re entirely dependent on contacts, tag searches, and external sites for meaningful discovery. There’s only a very limited level of curation otherwise, which is largely worthless for my purposes. So yeah, it’s mainly just contacts, likes, reposts, tags, and playlists at this point with the possibility of tokenized monetization for engagement on the platform (I still need to read the white paper).
