Forcing myself into self-sharing mode which makes me want to hide in bed all day, but my first new “released” sound work in years is forcing me to face it.

I’m here on Bandcamp: https://brookhinton.bandcamp.com. What’s there (including the new album) only reflects one aspect of my music/sound work at this point, as I stopped releasing work for many years.

I’m here on Soundcloud though I mostly only use it occasionally for Disquiet Junto these days, maybe that will change: https://soundcloud.com/brookhinton

I’m also starting up a new label which will have a bandcamp site. In part to re-issue work by various people on my 1980s/90s cassette and occasional CD/Vinyl label (Subelectrick), but some new work too. But our label names keep getting snatched up before we finish our materials! I’m starting to think there’s an average of 3 labels per human on planet earth these days!

To start somewhere on this website maybe a small introduction.

I am Sietse and I record as Orphax and run the record label Moving Furniture Records. I am based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
My main interest is minimalist drone music, but in general experimental electronic music is my thing.

Today a mix of some of the music on Moving Furniture Records was published on Le Kabaret Soundcloud Project and this give a small introduction on my label and the musicians I work with.
You can find it here https://soundcloud.com/ele-ka-ese/lks-orphax

More music from my label can be found on http://movingfurniturerecords.bandcamp.com where you can also find more music by myself (click on artist > Orphax).

Later on I will share some pictures of my modest home studio and join in on other topics, but for now first a bit of exploring to get to know this place.

Cheers <3
