Hi all. Iām in the market for a hardware digital delay that has a great stereo spread. Iād love something that can produce interesting rhythmic sequences in stereo. Sound toys is scratching the itch within the DAW, but I love committing to a sound and working with hardware.
The three leading candidates at the moment are:
- OTO BIM (thx to @scttcmpbllās lovely record āstillnessā which you should listen to immediately)
- Strymon DIG (sounds wonderful, live the golden ratio mode, but worried that its ping pong pattern is not terribly interesting)
- Meris Polymoon (sounds great. Worried that it goes places I donāt necessarily need this box to go)
Iād love to hear recent experiences with any of these (Iāve read this entire thread, FWIW). And Iād also be open to a similarly priced rack unit, as this will be a studio solution.
And just so Iām clear, Iām not looking for a euro rack module⦠or am I? Feel free to persuade.
