def will. I will say that the initial vid of it that Martin posted is a really good rundown of it’s character(s), but also that there’s a mod that is now standard, which is to have the filter inputs broken out, rather than hard wired to the XOR outputs, as in his initial offerings, due to popular demand. too damn hot in my attic studio to get it to interact with other stuff today, as I had hoped to do, so sitting in the basement and listening to it bubble and croak whilst typing about it will have to do!

will post audio here soon though

Welcome, good to see you here! Recently subscribed to your bandcamp and been enjoying your music!

aha! thought that handle looked a little familiar! cheers!

Martin just gave me a recipe for ‘instant krell pinging’, here it is, or a couple min of it, no touching…

Never actually thanked you for the excellent demos. Great clarity in these recordings and I love the sounds you coax out of the box

Look fwd to hearing more exploration from you!

How would you clock it to sync it to a double knot? Very interested in the grackler

I’m on the waiting list for this lovely thing. Has anyone here ordered it from within the EU?

Would like to know what import taxes/customs, etc could amount to.

Grackler and Stuber!

just playing around w these two, not interacting w each other except at the mixing stage, which is through a 4ms Bend Matrix, which is just providing some additional stereo treatment.

I played for a while, then decided to record… I lost track of time, and when I saw it had just been 5 min, I thought ‘that can’t be TOO bad!’

you shd check w/ Martin directly… he had both in his rig when we toured a couple weeks ago

… this sounds great

Whoops. Thanks, but… I took that track down because a fella wants to put out an lp for me… I had told him to keep up on my BC and lemme know which tracks to pull… that made the cut! I’ll edit that post.

I actually played a show opening for Martin and FluxMonkey, both amazing synth guys. Martin had an expansive live setup that included a Grackler, and it sounded absolutely amazing. Super awesome guy, I would highly recommend buying his stuff or seeing him play live if you can.

Curious to hear any more recordings of this instrument with or without others if people would like to share? @Weird_Ear I’ve been keeping up with your bandcamp tracks and @slopstream shared an excellent minimal pulsing thing using the grackler recently. Any more for any more? Must be a good few of these out there now.

Also interested in more recordings of the grackler!

Might as well start off and share mine here. Grackler with each filter output going to a different effect pedal. One output to the Industrialelectric RM-1N (dist/reverb) and one to the Earthquaker devices Disaster Transport SR inducing the long, modulated delay lines.

@Weird_Ear here, under another account (my computer logs into Weird Ear, phone into Scy1e - seemingly same email and password for both!)…

Jammed with Cocoquantus on vocal processing, Plumbutter, Double Knot (through Stuber), and Grackler last night, was messing with the different pinged filter sounds one can get, playing each voice off each other…
