Thanks, yeah I wanted the horizontal row to be the more ‘hands on’ area. Feels more natural for me to be working over the top of a sequencer like the Circadian Rhythm as well as opposed to having it vertically

The ‘hands on’ area is really appealing to me too. I’ve got a Modcan touch sequencer and I’d love to get it horizontal so that using a stylus feels like writing, not poking. I guess it’s time to get my DIY on.

Here’s a pic of the rack while it was in progress, as you can see the construction is extremely simple.

Currently enjoying this combination of using the Omnichord as a midi controller for the Peak.

didnt know there was a omnichord with midi

Never seen that color before. Looks slick. What’s the tape for?

Here’s my basement corner. Most of what I make is computer- and iPad-based music. The goal is to keep the desk as clean as possible so I can easily make the transition from “day job” to “music-making” with little hassle. I try to limit my collection of modules/pedals/synths/assorted devices to what can fit in those drawers, but I must admit that I do have to spill over to an out-of-frame storage cabinet occasionally…

The blue tape on the omni is retaining my cheater melody overlay with chord notes on it.

This is the OM-250M - PDF manual here. I’ve really been enjoying stacking voices on the Peak via the strumplate. Next step is to run audio out from the omni into a long, deep reverb and mix it in.

This is my third omni (had the OM100 and a Q-Chord) and it is my favorite thus far. I would really like to try a Folktek omni.

Love it! Especially the plants!
What did you do to the computer keyboard? It looks kinda dangling
And another question, how do you get along with the 1010 mixer? Does it flow? Or is it a menudiver stepping stone?

Hey. The computer keyboard is on an iPad clamp mount attached to the shelf. The Bluebox: I’m enjoying it, I was previously using a Zoom R8, which is more tactile (sliders, etc) - easier for sure, but also bigger. The Usb charging is somewhat susceptible to noise, but that’s probably not the case in more thoughtful electric installations. To be honest, I can barely different plants, audio cables and energy cables anymore - it’s a total mess. But it’s fun. Might explode one day.

moved into a new place with my partner and got to have my own tiny studio room (!!). really happy with this relatively limited setup. NEED the modern sounds pluto once it comes out tho

@EurekaQQN - I love that surf green color of squier mustang bass. I was so tempted to pick one up… I probably should before they are gone and I’m stuck kicking myself for missing out.

@marcus_fischer as reluctant as i am to inflame another’s GAS, it is a+ quality compared even to the most expensive guitars in production. as with most squiers these days. the combo of short scale and the tapewounds i have on it sound :100::100::100:

Hahah, I was going to comment that exact same thing
Mine is ocean turquoise metalic but I would probably have liked surf green if I had the option…
Mustang basses are really nice instruments.

It took me years of flipping modules to come to this but it’s been pretty stable for a while now (partly because I’ve had little time to play). It’s itching a little bit for something like a Norns though, or maybe an Organelle, those still look like a lot of fun.

Cool case. Looks super shallow.

Love that case, is it a violin case?

@HateNames @ilikeorangethecolour I made the case custom to be as shallow as possible and it certainly is. Although sometimes I wished I gave it just an inch or so more because some of the deeper modules (like the mangrove) are sort of pressing against the flying busboard underneath and that’s scary :grimacing: Also I love building functionality in the case to make room for more modules and that’s also demanding some space inside (I got Intellijel ins and outs, Nerdseq MIDI in and out, USB power and general power all installed in the sides of the case. It’s a mess inside

That would have to be one tiny, flat-ass violin!!
