Thanks! Looks really handy for the tiny studio.

Inspired by this thread i found this formerly unused corner in my bedroom.

I have a bigger studio outside the house but this corner is great for some late night experiments

This is the most corner corner I’ve seen in this corner thread. Looks really cozy!

Agreed… and is certainly making the most of what looks (in the picture at least) to be otherwise quite an awkward space.

Have recently converted my small studio corner into a small studio/wfh space out of necessity.

ErgoDox here! Want a plank for my teletype real bad, but considering all the build out I’ve done with my rack, spending that on a custom keyboard seems… Foolish…

Iris rev. 4 coming to support the split users. Just want to add that vscode with dark appearance is awesome

There is a lack of tea related gear in the first picture!..

we pulled our campervan into the backyard to serve as my wife’s office but it also makes a good vocal tracking booth.

What kind of electric cello is that?

Its actually a Kydd upright bass!

Hey, I am moving into an apartment with a friend of mine who I frequently collaborate with, and we’re trying to figure out a way to combine our (small) studios into one for ease of collaboration, fun, and space efficiency. If anyone has been or is in a similar setup feel free to describe and lmk the pros and cons, recommendations, etc.

I’ve already decided on the iConnectivity 4+ Audio Interface, but aside from that it could go a lot of different ways.

Thanks,

-Devon

Depending on the amount of gear, I think I’d probably go with a couple small mixers. You and your friend would each have your own submix, and then feed the submixes into the audio card.

I’d also get an in-expensive rack and one or two patch bays. I don’t have a huge collection of gear, but I’ve learned that I don’t need to have a lot of individual pieces in my setup to benefit from the convenience offered by a patch bay.

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any ideas about desks, studio monitor placement, etc?
