I have been working from home for more than a year now, but moved into this tiny bedroom (after cleaning out 10 years of storage/junk) to give my wife the better office. I love it in here but haven’t had much time for music lately.

It’s a Roland PA-250, very nice mixer. Inbuilt spring reverb, really sweet when slightly overdriven. It has the same styling as the tr-808.

WOW! never seen one of those. Gorgeous.

I moved all my gear out of this weird basement zone:

and into my tiny bedroom with natural lighting. This small coffee table setup might seem cumbersome, but I‘ve actually been enjoying it. My chair is the ideal height for reaching everything on the table. When I need to do sound design on my blofeld or digitone, I can easily pull them out and play with them on my lap. When I’m ready to record a track and do final mixing, I record everything from my Analog Heat into my iPad and then bring it down to the monitors in my basement. Btw, I plan to sell my MPC Live and replace it with a Norns Shield (and possibly a grid if I end up liking it):

what brand of case are you using there to house the kemper? looks so sleek and functional!

how’s that AB stereo mixer device. I came across it last night but was afraid for $25 that it would sound less than desirable. id love to hear your opinion. thanks!

That’s lovely! Got a similar thing going right now - How do you have audio routed?

It’s not too bad for $25. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t have a preamp so I have to crank it all the way up, but the signal remains clean. I’ve read that some people have received duds though, so there’s a little bit of a risk there.

Thank you! The photos don’t show it, but I currently have it set up this way:

All three of my synths and my MPC Live are going into each of the stereo channels on the mixer, and the mixer output is going into my Octatrack. One of the outputs of my Octatrack is going into the Analog Heat, and the other is going into the input of my MPC Live. The MPC Live is sending clock to all of my gear except my Blofeld, which is being controlled by my Octatrack. Having it set up this way allows for me to sample all of my synths and be able to send samples between both samplers. I don’t necessarily need a mixer to do this, but the Blofeld and Model:Cycles lack inputs, so it makes it easier.

That’s the Thon case, which is a house brand for Thomann. Holds the toaster and remote and I love it.

tasty! what’s the vertical monitor?

Japanese company called Framed did some 24” monitors as a kickstarter. I backed 3 screens and got them for very cheap, but it was a bit of a problematic campaign and I think they left a lot of backers hanging without product. They function as a dedicated digital canvas for digital art, which I was originally exploring to install my own stuff on, but eventually I pulled the backs off them and hacked my own HDMI input out so I could get more use out of them, rather than them sort of being garden walled by the digital art store.
