Here is my corner (desk) studio, currently set-up for a sound and video and plant performance.
Yes, all the cliches are here!

Oooo those paintings! I’d love to make some jams under those.

Nice. What’s in the palette? :eyes:

They’re a huge source of inspiration! I’d be interested in seeing a thread about what visual art people have in mind when they’re synthesizing.

If you want to check out more of her stuff, she has a website

Thanks!! It’s a fairly straightforward granular / ambient / ASMR setup — a Mutable Clouds, a WMD Fracture, and a 1U Chord Organ, all being controlled by a Mutable Marbles.

Sweet, sounds like fun.

I’m putting together a palette myself: ALM Pamela’s New Workout and Tangle Quartet, Mutable Rings and QuBit Chord in there so far.

My digitone and my shields are in the drawer on the left.
How are you keeping all your cables so tidy? my desk is a mess behind the synth, under the desk and between the left monitor & the synth

I’m a big fan of these for cable management

Cool. Thanks. this looks great.

Great mounting of the Doepfer mult.

I use a lot of velcrostrips to tame cables.

Yeah. I ran out of space and figured this way, i could still use them. The cheap version of the Make Noise CV strip

I have a set of these, with the smallest on my desk to hide/control some of the clutter.

The larger ones will fit power strips too.

There’s a lot less clutter to hide now that I have a custom snake to connect my modular with my audio interface, but there are still a couple of optical cables, some USB cables crossing my desk, etc. And it makes a handy stand for my Nixie tube clock and some rubber duckies.

Working on a new song. My current DAWless workflow in action. Quite a lot to keep track of, but very fun!

The digitakt / tone as a single unit really look super sexy and tempting (although you lose part of the “can use it anywhere” aspect and it becomes more of a classic rack synth) but yeah, definitely good looking and inspiring set that way.

yeah never saw that before, @Byzero can you link that rack setup? that is clean.

Heco Aktiv 2000k – nearfield monitors used by German broadcast stations in the 80s. Incredible Sound - lacking a little bit of bass of course

Sure! I don’t have a pro modular grid account so the screenshot misses the top row but those modules are visible enough in the photo, I guess.

The Eurorack

As an aside, I really need to get better at cable management…
