yes, and it has a quite interesting story behind it. it was made by my great aunt in the late 60s/early 70s as a celebration of the apollo 11 moon landing. she was married to a swedish diplomat, who was appointed to become the swedish ambassador in usa starting sometime in 1973, and it was my aunt’s plan to gift this tapestry to nixon (don’t ask). however, after the swedish prime minister olof palme held his christmas speech in 1972, where he defined the vietnam war as “torture” and outrageous violence, adding the hanoi bombings of '72 to a list of massacres in the 20th century (including guernica, oradour, babij jar, katyń, lidice, sharpeville and treblinka), nixon got angry and closed down the embassy. so my aunt and her husband never made the move, and the tapestry stayed in sweden, and was inherited by my mother who gave it to me. i think it’s amazing.
