Couldn’t find one, but here’s my translation of the ending of the speech (which is the most famous part). Outrage could also be translated to “evil deed”, “deed of evil” or something similar:

One must call things by their correct name. What is currently happening in Vietnam is a form of torture.

People are being tormented. A nation is being tormented into humiliation, being forced down on its knees by means of power.

That’s why these bombings are an outrage. And we have seen many examples of those in modern history. They are most often associated with a name: Guernica, Oradour, Babij Jar, Katyń, Lidice, Sharpeville, Treblinka. There violence triumphed. But the judgement of the posterity has fallen hard on those responsible.

Now a new name is attached to the list: Hanoi, Christmas 1972.

Wow what an amazing story… I’m glad I asked about it.

Heirlooms with stories like that are worth treasuring (especially when they look as cool as that tapestry does).

Thank you for sharing

I just have to add how much I love this design.

When Ikea branches out into modular specific furniture I hope they reach out to you

Ahh thank you! Heh. I’m sure Teenage Engineering is first on their speed-dial but maybe I can sneak in.

I’m in a similar place with Make Noise modules and the 0-series. Is it worthwhile to place Tempi and Rene in their own case?

It’s a great idea in theory but I have such a hard time patching out of one case for some reason. Rene and Tempi are back in at the moment.

Spent my day off rearranging my office/music space the other day, so why not upload a new pic. Still need to tidy up the cables. I work from home at the desk on the left. Thinking the space on the right, where the guitars are, will be a good spot for a Nord Drum 3P next year.

Is that a Waterslide cozying up to the Tele?

Whoa. White Squier VI? Is that custom?

Nah that’s a Dayn (of The Gear Page). Would love a Waterslide someday.

I don’t think so! I bought this used for super cheap and it already had a great setup with LaBella flatwounds. It’s honestly incredible playing and sounding.

Somehow I missed it ever came in white!

Lovely space. Do you like the Zoom Livetrak?

Very comfy.

That plastic bin guitar stand, though.

Is that a wood cabin or is your whole house like that?

How do you like the Kemper?

My house is kind of a big old cottage, but this is the only room like this. We called it the haunted room and used it only for storage for a decade. Then the pandemic hit and we needed a second home office for my wife so I moved in here and gave her my room. I love it.

Kemper is great but I haven’t gigged it yet.

Sounds good and easy to use but I would love an effects send or 2. If you have spare inputs you can kind of do it with the extra headphone outs (separate headphones submixes is nice) but I don’t.

Just wanted to post this photo to see if others are doing something similar. I really like having a real engineering scope available and in easy patching distance - in this case, the 1104X-E.

I live in chaos, and my studio is the tiniest ever!
the big screen is just for today, as i’m doing a live audio/video stream improvvisation on twitch.
fates running eyesy software for video, analog 4, rytm, octatrack for improvising, ableton for routing sends and return from/to octatrack and overbridge.
hope to buy a grid and find some space or it!
