It’s a tetrafol! Built by monome as a collaboration with machineproject and fol chen. Samples are on a SD card and are manipulated according to physical gestures with the object, played back through the internal speaker. It also has a line out.

I haven’t really shared much here for some reason and figured things are in a decent state to finally do so. There’s a lot in here in a very cramped space but I’ve been trying to arrange everything so it’s all very accessible. I definitely need some monitor stands to bring those up to ear level and so they aren’t being blocked by stuff on the desk but pretty happy with where everything is at.

I had that same Duke Nukem 3D mousepad at work for ages, until it started fraying too much at the edges.

Useful monitor insights thank you!

@laihalll, my input for what it’s worth…

I have the iLoud MTMs which suit my purpose brilliantly.

I have a small space and didn’t want to overpower the space, but wanted accuracy if possible.

The iLouds have a built in room correction function which I use and seems to help even out the sound somewhat.

The downside is the rather narrow sweet spot so if you were wanting to dance around or share with friends they’re probably not the ones.

I’m in love, it’s like my cyberdeck norns finally has a keyboard! And I finally got around to learning cheat codes 2. Had the startling realization that I can do this next performance without needing to bring any other hardware besides norns + grid!

There’s a trend toward simplicity with my gear pics :slight_smile:
