Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’ll investigate.

This thread is exactly what I need right now. Can’t take a picture, but I can’t access my space anymore and have to make do with just a small ikea desk. Will try to go vertical as much as possible. Thank you all for the inspiration.

I added a second Octatrack and a Zoom MS 70cdr pedal, brought my MacBook into the mix to pair with my Signature 12 mtk for multitrack recording, and added some framed artwork by two local artists (who I used to support at my old DSP job). Maybe it’s in my head, but my current setup feels like it has a subtle “tropical cartoon” vibe?

I recommend the Dead Man’s Catch firmware for Peaks. Peaks (Dead Man’s Catch) | Synth Modes

My little “easel” in the corner of our apartment, after finally recording a patch that I had set up for a couple months and doing a much-longed-for reset:

moved cross country, this morning the new little studio corner finally felt comfortable, despite the mess.

Beautiful! What’s the deal with the rampage panel?

Thank you! And well spotted :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: As much as I like the design of the Rampage panel, I just can’t really get into black faceplates — so I flipped it around!

Very nice! Are you happy with the k-mix?

I love this so much, beautiful work. I’ve been wanting to make a similar type of easel myself. Would you be comfortable sharing the specs?

I’ve taken note of my simple needs to just have somewhere to jam out in my downtime and settled on the Octatrack again. This time using it as a looper and effects processor for my Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar.

No doubt a happy little place for an otherwise gloomy 2021

Thanks @tekknovator! I really like the K-Mix; the 8 ins and 8 outs is pretty incredible for doing send/return type stuff from the modular to effects pedals. I was hesitant to take the mixer “out of” the modular, but the level of sophistication here would be pretty impossible (or at least very expensive) to accomplish within Eurorack.

My only complaint about the K-Mix is that it’s black, and matte — which, besides being a bit too “militaristic” of an aesthetic for me, seems actually designed to attract fur from my white dog…

Thank you, @margot !! Feel free to DM me for some specs — I have it mocked up in Sketchup, if that works for you

In April I’ll be moving so it’s about time I shared what’s been my tiny studio corner for over one and a half year.

Haha thanks. I definitely wasn’t aiming for a spongebob vibe, but if you’re saying that it pairs well with the ciat-lonbarde aesthetic? Sure, I’ll take it!

Love the colour palette going on.
