Thank you! It’s been a slow progression from “dingy basement vibe” to what I’ve got going on right now

what’s up with the covers on the JBLs?

I actually spray painted them. They were an intense red originally, which might be why they were really cheap?

ah interesting. i have similar ones and recognized the shape.

It’s been endlessly interesting seeing everyone’s tiny sonic hideaways. Here’s mine. I’m here for the next couple months with infinite possibilities.

That’s funny. With some fantasy the car looks as if it was an extension of your modular.

@Tiago_Pereira Can you tell me about those little wooden stands that the Grid and OP-1 are sitting on. They look a bit like IKEA pegboard with 3D printed parts and exactly what I have been thinking about DIYing.

I love this!!! Blends in really well with the entire shelf unit.

I wish I had done them myself, but I got them from Jason at https://www.3dwaves.net, their website shows the specifications - which you could probably use as a reference to start yours…

Working on chopping up and remixing some old projects and I’m going to be using this set up for the bulk of it. I finally got a laptop this month, after my last one died about 6 years ago. Feels so good to be able to do actual composition work away from my main computer in the studio for a change.

Finally getting around to working with Overbridge more intently, too, and it’s turning out to be great. Having all 8 tracks from the Digitakt getting processed and recorded separately, with the modular coming through the DT’s sample inputs and into its own mixer track in the DAW is incredible–so much flexibility with so few things to physically manage.

pretty excited, finally moved to a new place where i can setup all my equipment comfortably somewhere… and although i had the option of having everything all in one room i opted FIRST AND FOREMOST to create this recording-booth/practice-room in a little closet… i bought 3 inches of memory-foam style mattress toppers to pad all the walls with… seems overkill but i’m very self-conscious about making noise so a huge part of what’s missing in my music to this day is experimenting with live-instruments because i’m too shy to practice lest someone nearby hears it, anyways, long story short, music will definitely change for me now:

will share pics of the actual studio-room later once it’s setup(which is just my bedroom… but i like it to call it the ‘server room’ because that’s where the ‘server’(me😜) sleeps)
